Evict the U.N.
July 14, 2008 | me

Posted on 07/14/2008 12:54:28 PM PDT by reaganaut1

I am tired of the U.N. headquarters in New York City being a forum for men like Castro, Ahmedijinad, and Mugabe (and decades ago, Kruschev). I wish our elected officials would compile a list of countries whose "diplomats" and heads of state would be banned from the U.S. If that violates some agreement with the U.N., that organization should feel free to relocate to Switzerland or wherever. I think our continuing to provide a forum for our enemies is interpreted, correctly, as a sign of weakness.

Considering our “choices” of presidential candidates, I wouldn’t expect much movement on that front for at least 4 more years.

Move the NYC UN headquarters to Harare, Zimbabwe. That should straighten quite a bit out.

What we are lacking is pro-American leadership. Not until we walk to the brink of chaos will such a leader rise. At least, I hope one rises.

The UN should be relocated to Haiti.

I'm serious. The UN is always posing as caring for the world's poor, and Haiti could use the money. P.S.: I don't think that even the UN is more corrupt than Haiti, so they should both be better off.

Won’t see the UN out of the US until we as a Nation wise up, unite, and elect legitimate Conservative Americans to Congress and the Presidency.

Good comments. How about Guantanamo? Personal protection and attention from US military would produce productive order, a greater focus on the duties at hand, lack of cultural distractions and exposure to lobbying from undesirable sources, and a marked decrease in politically directed money-laundering. UN scandals could conceivably be reduced accordingly due to better monitoring which the military assets there could provide. A higher regard for the US Military might be necessarily engendered....new credibility for the Pres. would follow. Guaranteed to get John Boltons’ approval...eom

I had lots of excuses for keeping the bunch of hoodlums there: Keep you enemies close, possibility of change, etc. Nothing has worked.

So now I have come to agree with you all those who have had it with this bunch of nothings.

It’s time for the UN and all those who pander and live off this scum to get the H**ll out!

I cannot think of one single international feud they have solved in all the years they have been sponging off the US taxpayer. NOT ONE. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Below is from George Washington’s Farewell Address!

Warns against permanent foreign alliances.
“It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent
alliances with any portion of the foreign world...”

**
Why do all treaties signed by our congress involve
a large property transfer to foreign countries?

Can we get information on the lease on the UN building? Surely it has to be renewed from time to time.

They have a perfectly good Beast Building in Brussels they could move into (it is actually called “The Beast”).

Careful, according to some government agencies, such talk could make you a terrorist suspect:

http://www.pa-aware.org/who-are-terrorists/domestic-5.asp

I recommend everyone start from page 5 of the "domestic terrorists" section.

A prominent link declares, connected to a section on domestic terrorism, "A 'patriot group' is defined as one opposed to the “New World Order” or advocating or adhering to extreme antigovernment doctrines."

Typical beliefs of domestic terrorists:

Gun Control is a conspiracy to enslave us starting with the removal of our ability to either defend ourselves or forcefully change our government.

The first ten amendments of The Constitution are God given and all others are temporary, invalid or outright fraudulent.

All judicial authority resides with the people. The jury, not the Judge, directs trials and can nullify laws they do not approve of.

U.S. sovereignty is being surrendered to the U.N., World Court, and World Bank, with the U.S. becoming an economic region of this New World Order.

A symbol of anti-government domestic terrorism:

And YES, this is a GOVERNMENT WEBSITE:

Terrorism Awareness and Prevention is provided by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a Crime Prevention & Safety Initiative.

The drive is to make terrorism policies PC.

The sad fact is that there is not enough conservatives left to make a meaningful push to get the UN out of the US or us out of the UN.
