Yeah, AP wasn’t biased enough. Now they can just go ahead and tell everyone what to think. Because, “the average reader is “having a hard time figuring out the right from the wrong, the black from the white”

Marxist scum.

“When George Bush stood up there and said that things were going fine in Katrina, I was able to write, ‘The president is wrong.’ That was pretty liberating. It was also a fact.”

This is a nice summation of what I think is wrong with the MSM. Your job as a journalist is not to feel liberated. Your job is to dispassionately report the facts. I don't even want to be able to guess from your words how you feel about the event. To me, a journalist has no right or responsibility to draw conclusions from the facts. Their job is to present the facts associated with the story, devoid of their sentiments. I am bright enough to form my own conclusions from those facts without your feelings on the matter. If I want to read a paper that makes up my mind for me, I'll read the National Enquirer or some other rag, like the New York Times.

In other words, instead of faux objectivity, AP will now be blatantly obviously biased toward the left. Another indicator we are moving toward a completely subsidized partisan competitive press, and not a money-losing phoney “objective” media, which is fine with me.

Very interesting! You can defintiely tell the difference in Glen Johnson’s writing on this campaign for AP, compared to his reporting in 2004 for the Boston Globe. I find it alarming, because so many small town newspapers just run whatever AP sends them, and the general public still thinks of AP as an unbiased news source. It just isn’t possible for a news organization to allow opinion writing without the personal views of the writers being expressed, and we all know that 90% of reporters are liberal.

Boy are you in trouble. I saw the words "Hillary," "Rodham," "Clinton," "the," "and," "that" - clearly words the AP has used in a recent story about the the impeached former president's wife. AP rules clearly state that use of more than 4 words incurs a fee. They didn't say the words had to be consecutive or in context.

I think they take Paypal ;-)

So, the AP has gone from subtly biased and occasionally wrong, to in-your-face biased and more frequently wrong. And this is viewed as progress? Even with all its faults, the blogosphere will shortly pass the AP as a source of breaking news.

It’ all part of feminizing the news business. Stories will be written by liberal women and men who wish they are women.

You can tidy up a whore, dress her in pretty clothing, give her a new hairdo, and she remains a whore.

The AP is in the business of overthrowing the government of the USA - no other way to acknowledge them - and they need to be charged for the damage they have done to the people by their skewing of the process of government as well as inaccurate information dissemination to this nation both internally and globally.

Much of the world believes the information of hate put out by the AP - you can in large part credit that group for their work in creating and manufacturing it.

Their singular goal is to place a sympathetic government in quasi-control of this country - over which they can call the shots with their ‘governmental reportage’.

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) - NBC Universal's profit rose just 1% in the second quarter, as revenue growth at cable networks such as USA, Bravo and Sci-Fi were partially offset by declines at the NBC Television Network and its owned-and-operated television stations.

You've pretty much got it. Government and the Drive-By Media are in bed together - they accentuate and boost each others acquisition of power. Follow the growth curve of government power and you'll see a similar growth curve in the power of the Drive-By Media.
