Mika: New Yorker Obama Cartoon 'Dangerous'

Look for Mika Brzezinski outside the Danish embassy. True, the Danes had nothing to do with the New Yorker's publication of the Obama cover. But what more time-honored locale to protest an irreverent cartoon of a figure adulated with religious fervor?
Mika has condemned the New Yorker cover as "dangerous." Why dangerous? Mika doesn't quite say. But by darkly musing about unspoken perils that derive from the mocking of Obama, she would apparently place irony about her candidate off limits. Mika sounded the alarm on today's Morning Joe.

Mika: don’t mock my Obama ping to Today show list.

Gee, Mika...I didn’t hear you complaining when there was a book and film about assassinating President Bush. I guess that was just art.

Free Speech is dangerous. Like all good commie socialists, they do not look too good when the light is shined on them. That is why the left HATES real free speech.

The New Yorker cover is mocking how Conservatives view the Hussien Obamas.
Now Obama can play the victim again and prove how he was "right" that "they" would run this kind of campaign against him.
Well, who can blame him? He figured out that McCain wasn't going to call him a Muslim, so he had to get the liberal New Yorker to help him. /s

Dangerous? DANGEROUS, Mika? To whom?
Reading her statements it seems as though she’s worried that some unamed people may do violence to other unamed people. Talk about the politics of fear!
Go ahead Mika, tell us what you’re thinking.

Mocking Obama might not be dangerous, but some Muslims might not get the joke.

If so, why not spell it out rather than drop inchoate hints? The woman is never coherent. She never shuts up either.

Yeah, right. And all the MSM bashing of Bush over the years - that was fair game. Trashing the current President was okay. But a cartoon (what is it with muslims that they have some much hatred for cartoons) about a 2-bit first term senator is way out of bounds. Cry me a river Obama.
But, but, but...I thought if you defame someone in a satirical way it was ok? I guess the messiah obama is off limits.

Lay off Mika today. She admitted she's having a mental recession and she appeared to have a spittle problem. ;^)

Mika, dear...here's a hint...she has a loud cackle.
Well, the Friends have been discussing the cover all morning...being not so fair and balanced taking Barry's side. Brian saying that it's fear politics--that people out there on the Internet are writing that he's going to be a Muslim and take over the country with a secret agenda and how that's not working. Gretchen compares this with how the Drive-Bys choose bad pics of W looking goofy. The Friends conclude that there are people out there (on the Internet) that do think that Michelle is a militant and Barry is a Muslim. They do keep mentioning that burning flag and pic of Osama over and over.
