(CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama discussed his vision for the world in a wide-ranging foreign policy discussion with CNN's Fareed Zakaria.
The Democratic presidential hopeful answered some tough questions about how he would deal with the world's crises, what he would do if Osama bin Laden is caught and his plan for Iraq.
Here are some highlights from the interview, which aired Sunday on "Fareed Zakaria -- GPS."
ZAKARIA: Tell me, what is your first memory of a foreign policy event that shaped you, shaped your life?
OBAMA: A first memory. Well, you know, it wasn't so much an event.
I mean, my first memory was my mother coming to me and saying, "I've remarried this man from Indonesia, and we're moving to Jakarta on the other side of the world."
And that's, I think, my first memory of understanding how big the world was. And then, flying there and landing. This was only maybe a year, or even less than a year, after an enormous coup, the military coup in which we learned later that over half-a-million people had probably died.

booooooooommmmmp !!
I THINK that article by Maureen Dowd was discredited?????
It was NOT written by her. At least I never found it
on the NY Slimes, where she writes.
Please let me know if I am mistaken.
Thanks!
I see a number of sites on Google. Lol, don’t go to the first Hillary Clinton site, it requires signing in.
I see that article a couple of places there, but not
the NY Slimes or anything that might look like it was
HER writing the article.
I sent a note to her and outright ASKED if she wrote
the article.
I am doubtful that I might actually get a REPLY from
the elite snob, but I’ll let you know if I do, okay?
:)
Yes! Let me know for sure. You just might hear from her if she didn’t write it as it would irk her, lol.
Okie-dokie! :^D
did not find the debunking article you mention. Do you have the permalink?
She didn’t write the article, so it’s not included
in the list of her recent articles I linked there.
And I am not saying the info about the fundraising
is incorrect. I think other sources have reported
the same info.
Re: Hojatieh Islamic Sect (suicidal loonies)
will try to put up a brief outline but it is incorporated in the article linked below. Let me know if this covers what you need.

Hard to tell if the Leftist aquirming actually has any truth, is disinformation or as you say an attempt to head off clearly coming criticism of Obama at the pass.
One thing is clear, they do NOT want much of the truth coming out about Obama as none of it is beneficial to him nor to their aims of subverting/misleading the nation.
Of course he does.
Maybe it was written by the late George “Bad American” Carlin. ;’)
haha!
It’s an outstanding article, but I don’t see a link to MoDo other than to her bio with links to her prior articles.
The link goes here...

It’s a blog.
However, I believe foreign money and influence has been a huge factor since Bubba was in office.
In fact, I think the most Merciful One, the “Messiah”, is a puppet for Soros.
There are blogs and blogs. Don’t be too quick to belittle or put them down. Specially one like antiMullah. The MSM is no longer the purveyor of reputation, reputable reporting or truth and fact and many blogs are.
Something published in the old days in a newspaper made it a fact. Today that no longer holds true and is a false measure of validity.
In fact many blogs get information the MSM either misses or intentionally suffocates. More descriptive than suppresses.
While the actual story about Obama’s fund sources is not sourced to your satisfaction, what you are missing (and there is no reason you should know this, but AntiMullah had confidential sources which confirmed significant funding and open support of Obama by Islamic Iran.
Ths the sie does not wait for any traditional source to publish or confirm what reaches it sub rosa. .
cheers
I’m sorry...I wasn’t very clear, I guess.
I love blogs, and find them to be a better resource than the drive-by media, by all means.
In this case, the only link to MoDo was a link to her home page, and links her recent articles, but not the article in question.
If she actually wrote this piece, then I profusely apologize.
I have no idea if she did or not but it has done the rounds on the internet as her work. In fact she reportedly denies it but then Obama “denies” hearing Dr. Wright! So denials by the left are not very solid reasons to believe or not.
Whether it’s me or AntiMullah or a broadening number of contributors of articles and graphics by Email (including some from FR) who originate a story, I know that most of us visit so many sources that often we cannot remember where we found an article. Or we copy and combine two similar posts from different sources to provide a broader image.
Partly because of this, AntiMullah tries to always post the author rather than where that author’s article was encountered. The credit is due to the writer of the piece not who posted it, specially when many sites may do so.
Be healthy and happy
