Obama and McCain at La Raza: An open-borders lovefest
michellemalkin.com ^ | July 13, 2008 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 07/13/2008 12:32:51 PM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

Barack Obama takes the podium at the National Council of La Raza/The Race tonight. John McCain will Hispander, as Mickey Kaus puts it so well, tomorrow.

It’ll be an open-borders lovefest for Obama, who was championed yesterday at The Race conference by L.A.’s zealous pro-illegal immigration mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa. You’ll recall that Obama is very, very proud to have marched “shoulder to shoulder” with shamnesty activists in the 2006 illegal alien May Day parade. ABI gives him a career grade of D- for his immigration voting record.

As I predicted in my column this week, the open-borders radicalism of The Race has been whitewashed out of the MSM’s coverage of the conference.

If you say “yes” to McCain you are saying “yes” to driving conservative values from the Republican Party and thus America.

While that's true, that's only a part of the truth.

By saying "yes" to McCain you are also saying yes to Liberal values.

While the division between Liberal Values and Communist Values is growing increasingly small, there still is a difference.

By say "yes" to McCain you are also saying yes to some Communist values.

Exactly! McCain supporters are all closet communists who have had sleeper accounts here for years just waiting to destroy the Republic. It’s obvious.

You notice the anti McCain folks will not state which candidate they support outright and how that person will win the war against the IslamOfascists.

The third party gave us Carter and Clinton only this time this is a different world, Marxist and IslamOfascists have weapons that can take out countries.

Terrorists are flying planes into bldgs killings thousands in one day.

The third party doesn’t believe it because Chuck Baldwin belives it was an inside job.

Then you have Bob Barr the ACLU employee who supports leagalizing drugs, gay marriage, cut and run on the war.

I’ve answered that question a dozen times. So have others. Apparently you have to make things up to make a point.

I suppoted Hunter right through the primaries and believe he was the best in the lot.

I above anyone know the border problems, The largest and busiest border crossing in the world, San Diego - Tijuana is aroound 15 miles south from me.
But now we have to face reality.
Only one of the two can win and Obama what what he will drag into his adm. I will support.

I have relatives fighting in Iraq, Afgan and Africa and they are supporting McCain.
They know what is at stake first hand.

Maybe, not my opinion though, that's yours.

I may end up voting for McCain.

I just won't delude myself into thinking he's a moderate.

Maybe I'm late to the party, but this has been a sad year for revelations.

I was a proud card carrying Republican for over 30 years...

..now I realize the only votes that counted for something was probably the two-(in 8 years)- I cast for Ronald Reagan.

At this point in time, he's the only won who still has my trust.

He must have been an anomaly....and I am thankful for it.

Any vote withheld from McCain IS a vote for Obama.

Are you stupid, or overcome with emotions? Let's say there are three voters, D, R, and RJ. D for dem. R for repub, and RJ for Ron Jeremy.

If D votes Dem, R votes R, and I vote R, then McCain wins 2-1. That's two votes for McCain, one for Obama.

If D votes Dem, R votes R, and I vote for Obama, then Obama wins 2-1, that's two votes for Obama, one for McCain. In that case, my lack of support for McCain would have resulted in a win for Obama.

Now, if D votes D, R votes R, and I don't vote, that is a tie. One vote for Obama, and one for McCain.

You might think I am a jerk, immoral etc. I am not here to argue that, but, as a matter of simple fact, not voting for McCain is not the same thing as votings for Obama. Or, to put it another way, R's should prefer that I don't vote, as opposed to voting for Obama. That is saying the same thing.. that not voting for McCain is not the same thing as voting for Obama.

This is simple logic. Now that it has been explained to you, I assume you will not go around saying that "Any vote withheld from McCain IS a vote for Obama". If you do keep saying that, I will just assume that you are a moron.

Now, don't get me wrong. Go fight for McCain. Just don't say things that are factually untrue now that it has been shown to you that they are factually untrue.

I have faith he will live down to your predictions. If he wins he’ll be our 2nd Illegal Alien President.
