I felt compelled to check out the comments on DU concerning Tony Snow's passing. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. You'll end up wanting to hunt most of them down like dogs.
I'm proud to be a conservative, especially when we show class about the opposition's misfortune. Clearly they don't have it.

Years ago, when I first started doing the Sunday Talk show thread, Tony was the host on Fox News Sunday. When he left, we were devastated. But nothing is as sad as this announcement!

Many here remember his posts, and his witty commentary, on FR to the daily thread about his show. They were all removed when he was first nominated for WH press secretary. It would be nice if somehow they could be restored so that we could once again enjoy them...

Griff is so right. When my son returned from Iraq and was diagnosed with cancer, Tony was a real inspiration for him. He says Tony had it exactly right, fight it, pray and keep laughing.

Tony was a warm, truly good person who never let politics interfere with how he treated others.
I imagine that even Helen Thomas shed a little tear upon hearing this news.
