Then you could consider that all knives be "registered?" I'm sure this would make all the chefs happy. Of course what about the average Brit who needs a sharp knife to cut his bangers with?
Then if push comes to shove, I would suggest "knife locks" or at the very least, knives should be "disassembled" (you know, have a requirement whereby the handle and blade be manufactured separately) especially when there are little crumb crunchers nearby who might have access to these dangerous weapons.
If all else fails, simply ban all knives altogether. As bad as English food is, no one would even notice!!!
Lock up real criminals and stop prosecuting people who defend themselves from thugs.
Just this week, there was an article about the UK reducing penalties for burglary. It’s all related. Today’s burglar is tomorrow’s murderer.
Said it before will say it again..... an ARMED SOCIETY IS A POLITE SOCIETY....
During WW2 the Japanese stated they never wanted to attack the American mainland because they knew there was a gun “behind every blade of grass”...
The knew it would have been a fatal decison to attack a well arm private citizenry.... hence the same reason I don’t think we have seen a rash of sucide bombing here yet....
Oh yeah... has anyone been to the shooting range lately? I’m just amazed that nobody gets shot there... /s

Apparently Jesse Jackson has already got to Gordon
I read an interview with him a month or two ago and he was saying that he felt that the United States should pay for and provide education for EVERY child on the planet.....saying it would help our world image.
