Connecticut is LAZY when it comes to these perverts. No harsh punishment for these misunderstood animals.

I didn’t think 12-year-olds were allowed in casinos.

Not to detract from the story, but... What was a 12-year-old doing in a casino?

And he was ALREADY on the states sex offender list.

But then again, what is a 12 year old doing alone in a casino, even in an arcade game room.

1. Hopefully the stun charge was appropriately applied.
2. What the heck was a 12 year old doing in a Casino?

"What was a 12-year-old doing in a casino?"

Exactly!

The legacy of the 60s lives on.

Kids aren’t allowed to loiter in gambling areas of a Casino. They’re allowed in the building, can hang around anywhere where gambling isn’t occurring (buffet, for instance), and allowed to walk through gambling areas with adult supervision.

"..in an arcade game room."

Many casinos have some adjacent areas in which minors are allowed.

The arcade game room provides atmospheric training for children.

That will probably be his defense, and it will most likely get him acquitted.

Huh. Didn’t know that. I mean, I think it should be up to the casino owners, but were I the property owner in question, I wouldn’t allow anyone under 21 on the premises. No exceptions. I also wouldn’t allow my kids in the casino were I the parent involved.

I'm not saying she was in the casino proper, or that casinos don't provide game arcades for younger folk.

I'm wondering what she was doing ALONE in a casino, ANY part of a casino.
Where were her parents? Playing on the casino floor while their 12 year old daughter is flashed?

Sorry about yelling but I would NEVER leave a 12 year old alone ANYWHERE in a casino or a casino/hotel except the hotel room.

The ones here in Colorado have sighs stating “No one under the age of 18”, pretty much PERIOD, at all in the casinos.

Though when I visited recently to Cripple Creek (first time I ever went in one) there were young kids with parents in the hotels. And they were eating in the restaurants.

How do you suppose parents are going to get their kids up to the hotel room? Or feed them while vacationing in Nevada? It doesn’t seem a particularly good business model to cut off all business from people with children with them.

I remember visiting Vegas with my parents when I was 17, my brother was 14, and my sister was 12 — we were on our way to Disneyland and stopped to visit Vegas, the Hoover Dam, etc, for 2-days. We stayed in the MGM Grand.
