Of course you don’t get a say in any of this. If you did, we’d be in the corner for the rest of our lives.
We have things to blow up. We don’t have time for the corner.
NEXT!

NO!! You cannot have my chair! It fits my neck just right. No kinks if I fall asleep with my head back. I’ve already taken my chair to another room where you guys can’t find it.

What did you say? Oh! Nothing! Okay! :-)
Actually, we’re not really going to ‘blow’ anything up silly Ma.
We need ice cream. GO GET US ICE CREAM!

Aloha Night Owl!
We're having quite a show! (Made mainland news.) A lava tube caved in a couple days ago and produced an aerial fireworks display......it also sent more worries and heartaches for the last two residents of Royal Gardens.
You know we're approaching 25 years of volcanic activity, both Kilauea and Lo'ihi, and all that sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and ash going into the atmosphere (this morning I heard we're at 1800 tons a day), I'm afraid Algore will find out. I can barely afford the taxes levied on my normal activities......I wouldn't want to pay a Carbon tax for Madame Pele.

Psstt...Ma doesn’t drink coffee. Donuts...I don’t think she eats too many of those. We need to sidetrack her.
Ma, we want Butterfingers.
To: MoJo2001; Randy Larsen
OK....when you rebuild I want at least one wall to be blue..not dark blue and not light blue....a blue in the middle. And I need a bigger desk, with lots of drawers. And I need one of those new fangled TVs that make the picture short and wide. And a built in DVD player that plays Divx, you know, so it will play everything.

Psstt...Ma doesn’t smoke at all. I think those cigars were leftover from the last little party she doesn’t know we had. :-)
Now we’re in trouble as she will know something was up.
Get ready for the corner Randy.

Sure.
“Different strokes for different folks.”
We all have our preferences and it isn’t always going to agree with everyone.
My whole Canteen existence can attest to that.
laurenmarlowe ain’t a princess...she’s a Lady.
We don’t always have to agree with everyone, nor do we have to like everyone, but we can’t lose sight of the purpose for the Canteen-—it’s for the Troops.
If you’re not sure the next time about what someone is saying or meaning, take a deep breath and have some chocolate. It always works. I don’t care what Ma says...chocolate cures everything. :-)
