A council has been accused of discriminating against homosexuals over plans to clear undergrowth from a notorious gay cruising spot.
Bristol City Council wants to prune bushes and remove cover from an area known as the Downs to improve the landscape and encourage rare wildlife.
--snip--
A row blew up last October when it was revealed that four fire fighters had been disciplined for allegedly disturbing a gay sex session on the Downs by shining their torches into the bushes.
After complaints that their actions were homophobic, the four senior officers from Avon Fire Service were fined £1,000 and transferred to other fire stations.

Read the rest at the source if you like. I can't believe this is what is happening in the UK. I also can't understand how these "encounters" are considered gay sex. This is the kind of perversion that Senator Craig, Jim McGreevey, and other sickos engage in. If this type of behavior is tolerated and accepted on any level then that's not being "progressive" or "tolerant" or "non-discriminatory". It's de-evolving.

This kind of disgusting behavior always seems to original in either the UK or near San Francisco. In San Francisco, because of the mayor, cops can't stop or interfere with the homeless urinating and defecating in the side or on the sidewalks. Store owners have to wash their store fronts every morning and then the city tells them they are using too much water or flat out, they can't use the water. What has happened to our community?? They trash we must put up with thanks to the ACLU. When or if is our society finally going to stand up against the racism and hatred caused by and fed by the ACLU and other like organizations?? When are we finally going to stand up for what is right and end all this??

Peter Wilkinson, the council's Head of Parks, said: "The general public are unhappy about people taking part in lewd behaviour in public spaces, whether it's between men and women or people of the same sex. In Texas v. Lawrence, the homosexual lobby was quite adamant that the state should have no right to interfere in what goes on in the bedrooms of consenting adults. However, it appears that the homosexuals have now moved on to taking over public property, and as such, ought to be arrested, since the state does have the right to interfere in actions made illegal by the virtue of their being held in public, on public property.
I wonder how far the homosexuals will go. Perhaps they will demand that the government give them the right to enter the homes of other families and households and commit their actions there, with legal protection on the basis that the property owner's interference constitutes "homophobia" and "discrimination."

I don't really care what people do behind closed doors, but when you're doing it in a public park you deserve to be busted. Personally, I'd expect police or firemen to clear out any couples, gay or straight, that they caught screwing in the bushes.
Since it was after dark, I probably wouldn't bother arresting them, but if it were in the daytime when children were around I'd throw the book at them.

“If this type of behavior is tolerated and accepted on any level then that’s not being “progressive” or “tolerant” or “non-discriminatory”. It’s de-evolving.”
Yep, from the “Me” generation to the “De” generation. The Brits have become impotent in their embrace of diversity and multiculturalism. There is no England anymore and we are in danger of falling into the same trap.
If Obama, whose middle name may not be uttered, is elected, America will be lost as well. So many kool-aid drinkers and so little time. People see what they want to see and they don’t want to see Obama for what he really is. We have between now and November to shake people out of this trance induced by Obama.
Frankly, I think he is going to be elected because so many people are mesmerized by his carefully crafted image. Hitler was known as a great orator too, The difference between Obama and and Reagan, is that Ronnie was the Real Deal. Obama is a narcissistic wannabee and relies on deception and manipulation to mask his real agenda.
Realize what is at stake.

"And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them."(Gen 19:5)
And we all know how that ended.

That’s the ticket! Build some public restrooms on the Down.
That way the gays won’t get leaves and gorse prickles all over their sticky parts.

So the firemen were gay, too?

Well, I would also recommend wearing some thick rubber gloves when planting it there...currently have a few poison ivy blisters on my hands and arms from brushing out the overgrowth from around my friend’s new home...

Let’s send them some poison ivy, oak, and sumac seedlings. problem solved.
