Both JJ and Reverend Al stood back and declined to support Obama early on, probably thinking he had little chance of winning the nomination. They became supporters eventually, but I think there is a deep jealousy and resentment that this Barack-come-lately came along and had the most success ever for a black man in presidential politics, stealing the spotlight and attention from the old timers.

And, Obama knew he had to get beyond being the black candidate to have a chance, so he hasn’t pandered to black interests and old power players as much the old timers would have liked.

How jaded are we! A “Reverend” complains about a presidential candidate not respecting Christianity and its adherents. Somehow this becomes a conversation about race, Fox, and democrats. The paradox is the fact that a “reverend” of Christianity (loosely) saying that he would like to “rip off the nuts” of anybody. One would assume that reverends don't say such things and if one does then he holds the owner of the said nuts in the vilest contempt. Perhaps a crusade is in order?
