Barack Obama has published an enemies list and conspiracy web on his presidential campaign website, Fight the Smears.
The site lists conservative activists David Bossie, Floyd Brown, Bob Perry, Craig Shirley, Bruce Hawkins and James Lacy.
The Obama campaign posted an accompanying graphic that lays out a web of connections between the conservatives, groups they represent and their efforts opposing liberals, including "Swift Boat", "Clinton Impeachment" and "Willie Horton Ad".
The text never connects any of those listed to 'smears' against Obama, but instead lists their politcal sins such as working with the Minutemen, Ann Coulter, Gary Aldrich, donating to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and running the Willie Horton ad. The worst that the Obama campaign says is that Bruce Hawkins was recently disbarred in Washington state.
Usually, paranoid presidents wait until they assume office before they compile their enemies list for their myrmidons to act on. Nixon had his infamous enemies list, the Clinton's had their "The Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce."
Barack Obama has set a new standard for paranioa. And he hasn't even been formally nominated yet.
Hmmm ... the Swift Boat Veterans didn’t say anything about Obama, so why are they on his enemy list?
An Arkansas criminal vs. a Chicago criminal....not even close
If these are the connections they make then lift the graphic and start a website of "Conservative heros and their accomplishments."
Or call it "Selfless Patriotism of Real Americans."
bkmark. thanks.

Whatta guy Barry is. Running for President and still has time to play, 'Six Degrees of Separation'.
Damn, we didn’t make the list.
Of course Al Gorebull Warming used Willie Horton before our side did.
Well, the Willie Horton thing didn’t have much to do with Obama either. This looks like a hastily thrown-together laundry list of people the Left doesn’t like.
Did you make the list specifically or by association.
I thought for sure Free Republic would have made the list. We have to try harder...
He’s also a racist.
Obama doesn't hate me, he really doesn't hate me.
Bwwwaaahahahahaha.
Don't worry GD, we'll get on their list yet.
I bet the Obama campaign/supporters read FR too and if they're reading so many of the comments that I've been reading, then FR doesn't stand a chance of getting on Obama's "enemies list". There seems to be a rather large group of people here who say they will not vote for McCain in spite of the extreme threats we will face if Obama becomes president. That's good news for Obama. Now, if Barack Obama has a "FRiends" list, FR stands a pretty good chance of getting on that list.
We’ve just gotta try harder.
Very lame graphic. For a better one of the commie types, check out Horowitz’s

He has an enemies list, plus he has ties to unpleasant people (like Farrakhan and others) who might decide to actually do something about listed enemies. The thought should be disturbing to thinking conservatives
So, have many points are you going to get for this post, crittertracks? The McCain camp must be getting pretty desperate given the # of 2008 sign-ups rooting for him on this forum.
