“Why?”
Because the mainstream media has a DEEP FREEZE on anything to to with Barack Obama, and this is only of the VERY FEW CHANCES that we have to ask questions and to get the word out of who this guy really is!!!!
Sheesh! Wake up!

I'm wide awake but I don't see your local radio guy having a big impact on this race. LOL! Call your neighbors and ask them to listen if you want. Rush, Sean, Medved, Prager, et al have been using their NATIONAL networks to get the word out for months. And you think Chris Plante is going to effect the election?
Sheesh! Wake Up!

what Obama needs to do to earn the respect of Americans and military families. Uh, bow out of the election and apologize for his actions to fraudulently impersonate honesty would work for me.

Plante has a national audience too.... obviously the guys you just mentioned above are not having much of an impact given that no one has yet brought forth to the ‘mainstream media’ the issue of his birth cert, his LSAT scores, what he did during Summer 1983 and Summer 1988, his massive flip-flopping, etc.
There are more questions than answers. It doesn’t hurt to have someone like Plante (a regular on Lou Dobbs Tonight and former CNN Pentagon correspondent for 17 years) bring this forth to the limelight.
So have the Mods close this thread then & sue me!

Obama cannot earn the respect of this retired military family.
He objected to winning a war in which we had already invested 3000 lives. He opposed the surge. I just read the quotes again yesterday.
Anyone who will run away after we have invested blood, has no regard whatsoever for the families of those who have made that ultimate sacrifice. The message to those families is clear and it twists a knife in the heart of their grief: “your loved one died for no good reason that we’d want to hang around for.”

So have the Mods close this thread then & sue me! I'm not chastizing you and I don't want to close the thread. I just asked a little question? (one word, three letters) and you got all 'Sheesh! Wake Up!' on me.
Maybe I was a little touchy and responded in an unkind manner...if so I apologize. In my defense I haven't had any coffee yet this am. Maybe I should log off until after my blood work is done and I've had a couple of cups!
Anyway...I hope you get a call into his show and I hope his audience is paying attention.

Obama cannot earn the respect of this retired military family. He (or any democrat for that matter) will never be respected by this current military member. Not to mention what my mother in law thinks. I cannot post (on FR) what she and many of my friends think about the left, because it would end up like this.

Most career military members are conservatives because they remember the military under Carter. Democrats cut military spending leaving them to work without spare parts, smaller numbers of people, lower training budgets, etc. Under Carter we were "frozen" at overseas bases because the military didn't have the money to pay for us to move back to the states. We had not have spare parts, equipment was unsafe (as proven by the failed Iranian Hostage Rescue Mission) and, under Clinton, small situations like Al Queda are allowed to grow until a Republican takes office.
Major weapons systems like the B-1 were suspended until the technology was obsolete. We were using 35 year old radars with vacuum tubes when Carter was in office because they didn't want to spend the money for newer ones. I stayed in Barracks that were built as temporary housing during the Korean war. When the base closed, HUD wouldn't take the family housing because it was substandard for low-income housing.
In addition - Obama wants to surrender a war that we've already won. I can't see him getting a lot of support from career military.
