Whose idea was it to send John McCain down to Mexico the day before Independence Day and have him grovel for Latino votes south of the border by visiting the Basilica de Guadalupea famed Catholic shrine featuring the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, which most Mexican politicians consider off-limits for campaigning?
According to Frentes Politicos (hat tip - reader Edgar M.), the stunt was the brainchild of none other than McCains open-borders Hispanic outreach director and former Mexican cabinet official Juan Hernandez, who apparently survived the big campaign staff shake-up:

ping to a fine double naught tap, fellas.
Snagged. That’ll come in handy.
It’s perfect!
Teamwork...I love it!!
Oh, and it’s not in the “rules,” we do it spontaneously of our own FREE will.
Imagine that.
I would bet that number does exist and want a conservative candidate.I can hope I guess.
Amazing what a silly quote mark can do to a post you're too lazy to preview :o0
I read the thread before commenting, and must admit I saw nothing prohibiting hijacking :o)
If you read the rules you would know not to comment unless you read the rules...
I'd have even harsher words for that moron....
America: The Land of the Free, the Home of the Brave and the Haven of the Hijacked Thread.... Darn tootin'...And I didn't have to read a darn thing to know that.... some things you just know, you know?

That's your response to my question?
Perhaps the poster to whom I was responding was correct?
I answered the person to whom you responded, Tristian; being anti-McCain does not make one Pro-Obama, any more than not being a cat person makes one a dog person.
Once again, I ask you to explain logically how any of my writings show support for Barack Obama.
I have not seen any place on Free Republic that states that one must support McCain to post here; rules against advocating sedition of the government, yes, but not rules against posting to point out McCain’s own leftist and unConstitutional leanings.
If your conscience permits you to vote for a Democrat-arse-kissing life-long politician, then by all means follow it, but if your conscience is clear on the matter, than nothing I or anyone else can say should disturb you.
But then, the average politician is a crook...
I would hope so too; but sadly, since FDR, more Americans are more concerned with voting lock-step with their party of choice and choosing “pragmatic” candidates than they are with stopping the present system. The Powers That Be have convinced most it is a fruitless effort.
In my opinion, the Founding Fathers would be ashamed at what has been allowed to happen to the electoral process.
Show me where I claimed you did.
Post 60, when you concurred with KiloLima.
Forgot to add:
Your exact response was, with no qualifier, "I would like to know this as well".
You quoted KiloLima's post in its entirety prior to your own post, sans qualifier that you were referring specifically to any particular part of KiloLima's post.
Agreed.Just look at how these rinos that come on FR and berate us conservatives for not being all exited about mcnutts.Well,I will just vote for the conservatives down the ticket.
