A truly hideous crime.
An unbelievably violent crime. This arrest is good news - I could not bear to think that the killer might get away with it.
But one must wait for confirmation that this suspect really is guilty. So far, no names, no explanation of a motive.

Mick Duthie, a homicide detective with the Metropolitan Police, said everyone working on the case was "deeply shocked" by the extent of the injuries and that he had never seen anything like it in his career.
When a homicide detective says something like that - and in London too, where stabbings are common - it shows how bad it is.
Thanks for update.
