(Vanity) A question for Weasley Clark

Mr. Clark I am very confused by your recent comments suggesting that McCain being a prisoner of war didn't qualify as experience when it came to being commander in chief.

So I was curious to see how long Senator McCain was a prisoner of war, and did you know that Senator McCain was a POW in VIETNAM longer than Obama has been a senator?

that's right see McCain was held and tortured by our enemies from 1967 to 1973 Obama has only been in the senate since he took the oath of office in 2005, even if I give Obama the benefit of doubt and include the last 2 years he has been campaigning as time served in the senate MCcain still has years on him.

BTW should I even mention that McCain has been in the senate more than 20 years, and that's even longer than Obama spent sitting in church supporting a hate filled anti-american preacher.

Better question: When did John McCain ever bomb a totally innocent Christian nation for eighty days and nights including Easter Sunday for the benefit of narco-terrorists, white trash and savages, and to take a believable rape allegation against a psychopath US president off the front pages of American newspapers?

Go ahead and flame me if you want, but Clark is essentially correct. Flying a fighter jet and/or being a POW does not make one qualified to be President of the United States.

Does it make one more qualified than someone with zero military experience, yes. But in and of themselves, those are not qualifications.

IN A TIME OF WAR JOHN MCCAIN SERVED AND SUFFERED FOR HIS COUNTRY

WHILE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, BY HIS OWN ADMISSION, WAS SMOKING DOPE

MCCAIN CAME HOME & SERVED ABLY FOR DECADES IN THE US HOUSE & SENATE

WHILE OBAMA BEFRIENDED DOMESTIC TERRORISTS & HATE FILLED AMERICANS

WEATHERMAN BILL AYERS & BLACK MILITANT JEREMIAH WRIGHT

MCCAIN HAS BEEN KNOWN FOR DECADES FOR HIS BIPARTISANSHIP IN THE US SENATE

OBAMA IS KNOWN IN THE US SENATE AS THE MOST LIBERAL PARTSIAN MEMBER THERE

NOW, BOTH WANT TO BE PRESIDENT. WHO WILL YOU CAST YOUR VOTE FOR?

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS OFF A TELEPROMPTER MR. OBAMA

Remember folks, when you go to Barack’s big rally in Denver: Zieg means Hope and Heil means Change. Anyone who tells you different is a Racist.

I should clear some thing up for the moonbats, by torture I mean being stripped, beaten, kicked, punched, spat on refused medical attention etc, not having underwear on his head as you and the NY slimes claim we torture our prisoners of war,

and furthermore while John Kerry was voluntarily meeting with our enemy and other anti-war groups McCain refused despite the several beatings per week

No flame from me, I agree. While service to ones Country by joining the military is something one can use to judge the character of an individual, getting shot down and becoming a POW are things that a a person has no control over and give one experience primarily in being shot down and becoming a POW. Also, I am concerned that McCain's POW experience may have made it difficult/impossible for him to deal with captured terrorists in a manner consistent with national security, witness his positions on interrogation techniques and GITMO>

That being said, Wesley is a Weasel.

Wendy, McCain not only supported the bombing in Serbia, but advocated we send in ground troops. Obama is worse, but McCain is no saint.

I do not think spending time in the Hanoi Hilton is an experience that makes someone a better president. If so, Stockdale should have been a shoe-in.

I appreciate McCain’s experience in the Hanoi Hilton. I respect him for it. I’m not convinced it is the trump card to end all trump cards.

yes we know being in the military only matters when the democrat canidate has experience

clinton didn't serve = military service not important

kerry did serve = military service is important

obama didn't serve = military service not important

more democrat change you can believe in...

They have gone even beyond that. Now having served in the military and coming from a military family is “dangerous” in a presidential candidate.

You’re absolutely right.

McCain has more senate experience than Obama, that’s what qualifies him for President.

Being a POW qualifies you for the respect, gratitude and admiration of our nation. It doesn’t qualify you for the Presidency.

I agree that his military experience is a higher qualification than Obama’s, but keep in mind that Rick Santorum, Dick Cheney, Jeb Bush, and Newt Gingrich have never served, and I’d say they’re all more qualified than McCain.

Ronald Reagan never saw combat - does that mean McCain is more qualified than Ronald Reagan was?

Wouldn’t a hot poker for Weasley Clark be more warranted?

Just asking. LOL.
