"..and in England they just mandated how many holes some restaurants can have in their salt shakers..."

Poor England!.........coming to a location near you.

The replacement of sugar with corn syrup forever ruined the taste of soda

There are two companies making soda with real cane sugar - and in real glass bottles.

One is JONES out of Canada and one is POLAR CLASSICS out of the US...

Polar Classics is my favorite as they make flavors from my childhood:

Vanilla Cream, Orange Cream and Root Beer. Tastes like it's supposed to...

Now if I can just convince them to make Sarsaparilla...

I actually interviews with Jones Soda’s founder Peter Van Stolk when I was looking for a job as a grad student. Looks like a ponytailed hippie douchebag, but he is one hell of an aggressive SOB when it comes to getting his product on the shelves. I came away impressed (but the job was NOT for me).

Be careful. Two months ago, Jpapan mandated that ALL Japanese be measured for waist size. The penalty will eventually be monetary.

The story:

LOL. No. Didn’t want to cut class either to sell Jones Soda to bodega owners in da Bronx.

"I want to thank you for alerting me," owner Robert Zerilli said.

What a good little forelock-tugging serf.

Another Nanny State success story.

“...then it’s time for another Tea Party.”

The New York Cannoli Party!

Given some of the other types of “trans” that inhabit NYC, goodness knows who might show up or what they’d be expecting.

JONES out of Canada

Jones started in Canada, but moved to the U.S. in 2000.

I can’t believe that the State is now telling you what you are allowed to eat.

I can. We the People have allowed (nay, even encouraged) the State to prohibit what we can and can't put in our own bodies (alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, etc.). Once we gave the government that power, prohibition on unhealthy food was the logical and inevitable result.

Liberal hypocrites. I can’t buy a chocolate mousse cheesecake for an office party lest it harm my employees, but the city will end me if I try to protect them by screening applicants on the basis of dangerous sexual practices and other immoral behavior.
