‘But do not, do not, question my patriotism. Or that of any fellow citizen. Such words are unworthy of what we owe one another as Americans.’
*YAWN*
When you have to say this, it negates anything else you have to say, IMHO.
"Shut up", he explained.
Chris Satulo took steps to destroy the United States of America because he was too ignorant to recognize that his opinions were dead wrong and destructive. He did it for money and "respect." Satulo thinks he is a patriot. He is wrong in that, too.
I do not question his patriotism. He has none. He claims to get "misty-eyed" over the Declaration and the Constitution. But he never got his facts straight on how we fought and won the war that made the Declaration more than vain words on a parchment, and made the Constitution possible.
A true patriot takes the time to know the facts of how his nation came to be, and what it stands for at its best. That doesn't mean he ignores the faults of his nation. It does mean he keeps them in perspective. Satulo is not a true patriot. He is a self-serving twit.
