What Are You Reading Now? - My Quarterly Inquiry

OK everyone, it's time for my quarterly "What Are You Reading Now?" thread.
I like finding out what Freepers are reading lately. It can be anything...a technical journal, a trashy pulp novel, an old classic...in short, anything!
Please do not defile this thread by posting "I'm Reading This Thread". It became very unfunny a long time ago.
I'll start. I'm close to finishing "The Last Valley" by Martin Windrow. It's about the siege/battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954.
Well, what are you reading now?!

Just finished Moment Of Truth In Iraq by Michael Yon. Highly recommended. Savoring every word of My Correct Views On Everything by Leszek Kołakowski. Marx, philosophy, and the role of religion in the life of man. Fantastic stuff. And I'm just starting War and Decision by Douglas Feith.

Just finished “The Last Valley: Dien Bien Phu and the French Defeat in Vietnam” by Martin Windrow. One of the very best books I’ve read in the last several years; brilliant in fact. Working my way through “The Fight” by John White, on spiritual warfare for the Christian.

Indeed, Ms. O’Connor, with opinions like “Affirmative Action and Reverse Discrimination are constitutional now, but maybe won’t be after 25 years or so,” is one of the primary reasons we have come so far from the vision of the Framers of the Constitution. She’s probably the stupidest justice of recent memory; must have leaned on her ghostwriter or co-author if her “Majesty of Law” is well-written.
And, for the survey, I’m reading Red Horse, an Italian, historical WWII novel by Eugenio Corti.

Just finished "The Disinherited" by Steve White. Haven't started on anything else just yet.
Also, been proofreading (not sure if that counts for this thread) a book I've been working on.

I am reading "Moment of Truth in Iraq" by Michael Yon.
This book is a must read for all liberals and conservatives alike.
It explains so much and you willl be convinced we need to stay and finish the job in Iraq.
American values will prevail even when we fight a war.
Kudos to Michael Yon for a great book!

I'm rereading David Gemmel’s “Troy - Lord of the Silver Bow” in preparation for Gemmel’s “Shield of Thunder” and “Fall of Kings.”

Juggling three - Sole Survivor by Marcus Drummond (loss of SEAL team in Afghanistan), Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, and rereading (after 40+ years) That Hideous Strength by C. S. Lewis.

Just finished “Timeline” by Michael Crichton.

Also recently finished two other books. “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg and “A Small Favor” by Jim Butcher. Maybe when my work schedule slows down I can actually get some more reading in, rather than talk about what I recently finished...

I’ve read “This Present Darkness” and “Piercing the Darkness” at least 10 times each. Though you call it entertainment, and it is, it was also so illustrative of how Spritual Warfare effects all aspects of life, personal and governmental. LOVE PERETTI!!! (though the next several of his are considerable let downs)

Have you read Noah Trudeau’s “Bloody Roads South”? It’s about Grant’s Overland Campaign of 1864.
