Homeowners: 'Someone Is Going To Get Hurt'
SANFORD, Fla. -- Families in a crime-ridden Central Florida neighborhood are arming themselves with shotguns and talking about adding electric barbed wire to stop thieves targeting their homes.
"Somebody is going to end up getting hurt," resident Andrea Fine said. "The homeowners are tense. We are all on edge. For the first time in my life I'm really scared to live in my home."

I agree. And at some point I think you just have to say: well, let ‘em have it, hope they don’t kill each other too bad.
But taking that element and spreading it out into nice neighborhoods that are not as equipped to deal with it as the ghetto was just stupid.

This is sad hearing so many people tell about what a trash dump Florida has become.

People make bad choices not because they are poor, but because for whatever reason they dont have the ability to make better choices. Moving those people to nicer homes doesnt improve their ability to make better choices. And, our society has decided to take the bad consequences that go along with bad choices away, thus, you can make bad choices all day long and still eat, have a roof over your head and probably enough $$ to find drugs.

I was on a rougher side of town today where there’s a lone apartment building surrounded by service company shops/warehouses that have always been fenced off with 6’ tall chain link. The apartments have become all Mexican tenants now, and the service companies have topped their fences with concertina wire.

Yeah,it is very revealing but with an obvious racial slant.
Don’t you think the white Missouri serial killer should be on there too?

It makes no sense, unless of course you're a politician trying to build a constituency.

...and talking about adding electric barbed wire to stop thieves
targeting their homes.
Some lawyer will snuff that out.
Probably will argue it's akin to a "spring trap"; the old arrangement
of setting up a shot/gun to ventilate anyone coming in through a window.
It will definitely get outlawed if someone amps up that electric barbed
wire enough that it would be a real crime-stopper.

The site administrator explains everything here.

Ok,I see your point. And I am hooked on the damn site too so who am I to talk?
It just seems a little too GRATUITOUS once in a while.Sort of liking viewing a criminal porn site.

You speak to SE Florida with that post. The rest of the state is pretty decent!
Unfortunately, it is true Central FL is going downhill. And there is alot of gang related crime coming in—most of the perpetrators and victims seem to have Hispanic surnames and questionable citizenship status!

I have seen plenty of white AND black trash in my time. And lets not forget that a lot of Asians and Latinos aren’t exactly upstanding citizens either!

You can submit a link to a story to the website. So feel free to submit the serial killer. Fwiw, I’d never seen this site before today. I did submit a link to a story where a thug was shot and killed by a business owner.

Actually, I thought that most of the Hispanics coming into Central Florida were from Puerto Rico (ie US citizens). Nevertheless, there are much better places to live, places where the largest employer is not a six foot tall rat.
