Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, appearing in a taped interview Sunday on "Meet the Press," defended GOP presidential candidate John McCain as "the real deal on the environment".
"I'm very proud of him. I'm 100 percent behind him," he told Tom Brokaw.
Schwarzenegger acknowledged that he doesn't support everything McCain has proposed, just as he isn't always in accord with his wife, Maria Shriver, a Democrat who has endorsed Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.
"That (McCain and I) don't agree on everything, it's clear. Nor do I agree with my wife," he said. But "he's terrific with the environment," and with a President McCain, "we would have for the first time a really strong energy agenda and a way of fighting global warming."
He said McCain has stood by him and "supported me on every step of the way" on issues like solar energy, greenhouse gases and many other environmental issues. "He's the real deal on the environment."
Citing a list of proposals, including ending the ban on offshore oil drilling, nuclear power and biofuels - McCain supports them all - he told the audience, "Anyone who tells you that this will bring down our gas prices immediately or anytime soon is blowing smoke."
The governor [also] said he supported the California Supreme Court's decision to approve same-sex marriage. "I think it's good that California is leading in this way.

It must pain these idiots to have to perform bodily fuctions regularly, thereby polluting mother earth.
Perhaps that is part of their problem, because they are certainly all full of something.

Let’s see.......John McCain the “conservative” candidate for president now supports the government taking over the economy because of “global warming”......and he want “amnesty” for 12 million illegal aliens.
What part of....”to see that the laws are faithfully executed”...does he not get?

"Anyone who tells you that this will bring down our gas prices immediately or anytime soon is blowing smoke." It took 30+ years being held hostage by radical environmentalist to get in this mess. Anyone who tells you to continue restricting domestic exploration is "blowing our economy".

It doesn't surprise me that Maria Shriver would back Obama-lama-ding-dong, some people forget that not only is Maria a Democrat, her father is Sargent Shriver, George McGovern's '72 VP running mate.
But I suppose Governor Ahhhnald's support can't hurt, but both Schwarzenegger *and* McCain ought to dwell on the ironic wisdom of the late George Carlin:
"We're so self-important. So self-important. Everybody's going to save something now. "Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save those snails." And the greatest arrogance of all: save the planet. What? Are these f'in people kidding me? Save the planet, we don't even know how to take care of ourselves yet. We haven't learned how to care for one another, we're gonna save the f'in planet?
I'm getting tired of that sh*t. Tired of that sh*t. I'm tired of f'in Earth Day, I'm tired of these self-righteous environmentalists, these white, bourgeois liberals who think the only thing wrong with this country is there aren't enough bicycle paths. People trying to make the world safe for their Volvos. Besides, environmentalists don't give a sh*t about the planet. They don't care about the planet. Not in the abstract they don't. Not in the abstract they don't. You know what they're interested in? A clean place to live. Their own habitat. They're worried that some day in the future, they might be personally inconvenienced. Narrow, unenlightened self-interest doesn't impress me.
Besides, there is nothing wrong with the planet. Nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine. The PEOPLE are f--k'd. Difference. Difference. The planet is fine. Compared to the people, the planet is doing great. Been here four and a half billion years. Did you ever think about the arithmetic? The planet has been here four and a half billion years. We've been here, what, a hundred thousand? Maybe two hundred thousand? And we've only been engaged in heavy industry for a little over two hundred years. Two hundred years versus four and a half billion. And we have the CONCEIT to think that somehow we're a threat? That somehow we're gonna put in jeopardy this beautiful little blue-green ball that's just a-floatin' around the sun?"
George sure had the pulse on this enviromental wacko BS.

Leading the way on what exactly Arrrrnold? Taking the government out of the hands of the people and giving it to the black robes? The people(remember them Arnold, McCain? The people?)of California don't want same sex marriage, they don't want global warming scams either. Of course the idiot from Austria won't let that stop him. Now, someone, anyone tell me why I have decided to vote for McCain, everyday I see new reasons why I shouldn't, this is just one of them.

RINO, RINO candlelight
Doin’ the town and doin’ it right
In the evenin’
It’s pretty pleasin’
RINO Ahnold, RINO Juan
Do the jitterbug out in RINO land
And they shimmy
And Johnnie’s so skinny
And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin’ and jingin’ the jango
Floatin’ like the heavens above
It looks like RINO love ....
Nibbling on bacon, chewin’ on cheese
Juannie says to Ahnold “Honey, would you please be my missus?”
And he says `Ya’
With his kisses
And now he’s ticklin’ his fancy
Rubbin’ his toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and Juan starts to giggle
And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin’ and jingin’ the jango
Floatin’ like the heavens above
It looks like RINO love
La da da da da ...

Now, someone, anyone tell me why I have decided to vote for McCain, everyday I see new reasons why I shouldn't, this is just one of them. What choice do we have. Remember the constant drum beating down the candidates until we got what we have. Don't forget some of the FR's that effectively killed our chances and left us with this. Some of us tried to warn them, but egos and distortions put us here. Want OOOBBBAAAMMMAAA? Keep thinking and posting like that and it might be what you get, assuming you are a conservative Republican.
