A postcard featuring a cute puppy sitting in a policeman's hat advertising a Scottish police force's new telephone number has sparked outrage from Muslims.
Tayside Police's new non-emergency phone number has prompted complaints from members of the Islamic community.
The choice of image on the Tayside Police cards - a black dog sitting in a police officer's hat - has now been raised with Chief Constable John Vine.

The advert has upset Muslims because dogs are considered ritually unclean and has sparked such anger that some shopkeepers in Dundee have refused to display the advert.
Dundee councillor Mohammed Asif said: 'My concern was that it's not welcomed by all communities, with the dog on the cards.
'It was probably a waste of resources going to these communities.
'They (the police) should have understood. Since then, the police have explained that it was an oversight on their part, and that if they'd seen it was going to cause upset they wouldn't have done it.'

These people don’t belong in the UK, Europe or any Western Civ nation for that matter. Their motivation is to colonize, evangelize an expand Islam’s influence.

When G-D made dogs, he intended them to be mans best friend! Dogs are more loyal than most people. Dogs don’t give you any lip no matter what you tell them. I wish I had a dog again. My dog lived to be 16 years old. She was an angel.. when I cried she licked my tears and made me laugh. she was so smart.
Hindus are a great example of how you can retain your core beliefs and culture yet still meld and live peacefully within a different culture.
If we don’t defend the melting pot concept our America will be gone very soon.
My guess would be that they’re scrambling right now to create a master plan for removing dogs from the Island to appease their cheap labor.

Let me get this straight. The government of the UK is apologizing for being insensitive for showing a puppy in a picture advertisement? What’s next? Banning Porky Pig cartoons?
A least one can laugh on this early day of Canada's national holiday. Yes, if only this kind of stuff could be put in their faces- up front.
There is however, one thing that does not seem to be understood in the UK and indeed by some misguided souls in our continent. Simply put, to give in on some single issue is just not the end. Having won that issue, the Islamic zealots, then move up to the next- whatever that may be.
They will not stop- unless someone gives them the royal boot.
