Gen. Wesley Clark, acting as a surrogate for Barack Obamas campaign, invoked John McCains military service against him in one of the more personal attacks on the Republican presidential nominee this election cycle. ADVERTISEMENT
Clark said that McCain lacked the executive experience necessary to be president, calling him untested and untried on CBS Face the Nation. And in saying so, he took a few swipes at McCains military service.
He has been a voice on the Senate Armed Services Committee. And he has traveled all over the world. But he hasn't held executive responsibility. That large squadron in the Navy that he commanded that wasn't a wartime squadron, Clark said.

And Obama has!?!?!?!?
UNREAL!
Gen. Ashley Wilkes, go figure. Was Col. Klink unavailable???
General Eyebrows has the audacity to bring this non-issue up. What utter crap. Obama hasn’t done a damn thing in his life other than have doors opened for him and walk right through them.
Does this guy ever put his brain in gear when his mouth is in drive?
Yup
Yeah well I wonder if the ObamaMessiah ever even registered for the draft.
Clark sure runs off at the mouth a lot for a US General who was relieved of command.
Now might be the time for Osama to produce concrete evidence of his registration with the draft.
Of course if McCain or any of his surrogates point this out, they will be branded as being racist by the Hussien
campaign and the media.
Clark carries a lot of baggage—”Waco Wesley”— but Obama would be smart to get a Democrat general with military creds to be Veep.
What an idiot. Obamas vast executive experience would serve him well in the WH. Maybe he could spend his time doing community organizing in DC with the poor folks.
I’m sure he think Bill Clinton was an excellent CIC too. Clark is hopelessly corrupt or stupid, or both.
Wesley Clark is plain weird. He’s 50% sane and rational and 50% insane
Is he talking about McCain or Obama? I'm thinking it was a freudian slip.
I wouldn’t think they’d want to go there. Must be getting real desperate.
When your own candidate is so utterly unqualified and inexperienced as is Obama, why would you be so stupid as to point out the experience and qualification of your opponent in this way? Is he so stupid as to think that his audience will just take what he says at face value and not give it any further thought? Incroyable!
