Already done the sweet - strawberry trifle. Decorated with fresh local strawberries. June is the best month for local strawberries they are plentiful in the shops relatively cheap and a beautiful flavour.

Candee of course, asks him about the great “unity” meeting between Clinton/Obama. This is all they think about...the democrats (makes me want to puke).

She asks how this hurts McCain? What a tool/fool candee is.

Jindall is terrific — this meeting was about the past, not the future...Candee interrupts and says that Bush hurts McCain because of his low poll rating. Again, working hard to push the democrat message into the discussion.

Bill predicts Barry's next remarkable flip flop will be after his trip to Iraq where he will be talking about an honorable, careful withdrawal. Juan brings up McCains’s problem with the base and says he needs a VP to fire them up and let the 527s attack Barry. Brit is seen shaking his head. Hmmmmm. Bill is all smiles over the idea of 527s. What kills Juan about Barry is why he would be so obvious about the gun ban when it's so critical in urban America. That's not right, it's ridiculous, a reckless SCOTUS decision, it's damaging to people who say let's have guns everywhere. Chris says—the preceding comments were solely those of Juan Williams.

I just made a strawberry pie myself.

Graham cracker crust, already to go, cook-and-serve pudding over the crust, strawberries on top with a gelaton-sugar syrup covering it all.

Daughter and husband had a piece. They liked it. Or so they said.

I used frozen strawberries but only because I had just the right amount that needed to be used because fresh strawberries are in abundance too around this area.

Also already had some great watermelon and two pretty good canteloupes just cut today.

Good stuff. Fruit seems kinda high though...$1.99 for a canteloupe?
