Can we stop this? The haloed one isn't that stupid to make a run at POTUS and not fulfill the Constitutional requirements. Like the Muslim stuff, this is all about distracting the opposition to chasing shadows. When they are proven to be shadows any other legitimate point of attack will be described as a similar distraction and ignored.

The haloed one learned a great lesson that the Right will place its bets on peripheral issues, see Clinton and blue dress, and while these are judged by the public to be unimportant other, far more substantive issues pass unnoticed.

The real issue here is not whether is is native born. The real question is why is he exempt from having to prove it. Why is he exempt from all of the laws that you and I must abide by as regards providing said proof for a variety of purposes?

Crap, if I had taken the document that he is presenting (to us) to get my Kentucky DL they would have refused to accept it.

He needs to be publicly called on it for that reason. He needs to be asked, “Senator Obama, what makes you exempt from the laws that other American citizens must abide by? Do you consider yourself better than the people you expect to vote for you”?

NO! I'm getting a little sick and tired of people like you that think the rest of us can only do one things at a time.

This is not some idiotic diversion. A majority of Clinton supporters said in exit interviews that they would not vote for Obama because they just did not TRUST him. So if this persuit turns out some type of flat out fraud/deceit, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

I understand your alarm, if he has tried to do so, and gotten so far it really shakes things to the core, eh?

We taxpayers are not running for office....Obama is.
What would happen if I took my scissors and altered my certificate number by cutting it out and try to pass it off to the Treasury Department at HR?

Don’t you think it would raise few eyebrows?

I am very eager to work in the printing room and my cousin can tell you the birth certificate is valid.

That would raise some more eyebrows too?

They say to you....
What do you think we are? Stttuuuppppidddd!?

If Obama comes up with the real certificate....I feel rest assured.

No more complaining and lets start campaigning!

What are you afraid of, that the Washington Post might write a mean article about us?

The haloed one isn't that stupid to make a run at POTUS and not fulfill the Constitutional requirements.

This is how Obama runs and wins elections.

1) Obama challenged qualifying signatures on all his Illinois State Senate Democrat primary opponents' applications (see Alice Palmer), running unopposed,

2) Obama had sealed divorce records of his Democrat primary opponent Blair Hull exposed, revealing accusations of wife-beating and forcing Hull out of the primary,

3) Obama had sealed divorce records of his Republican opponent Jack Ryan exposed, revealing accusations of wanting to perform public sex acts and forcing Ryan out of the general election.

4) Obama claims his legislative records in Illinois were not archived, and presumably destroyed, leaving no paper trail of his past government experience. (See last paragraph of article)

It seems that Obama can't win without legal technicalities or by destroying his opponent by exposing sealed private records. So now, people want to see Obama's records, and there is a problem with that?

I think Kerry felt the same way about the Swiftboats.

It’s only July. We’re asking this man to simply come forth and prove his ancestry. Instead of confronting this routine question head on, he stonewalls with questionable unclear documents and other smoke screens.

Produce your birth records from the hospital where you were born. Show us a birth certificate with you foot prints. Show us proof of your parents marriage, etc.

You’re running for the president of the United States. These are basic questions that any candidate should address HONESTLY AND FORTHRIGHTLY.

The haloed one isn't that stupid to make a run at POTUS and not fulfill the Constitutional requirements.

Perhaps he's not that stupid, but, he might be hoping or expecting that the rest of us are that stupid.

Perhaps he and his campaign knew all along that he wasn't qualified to run for president because he's not an American born citizen and they didn't expect that his candidacy would take him all the way to become the democratic party's nominee for the presidency. It's like, "Oops! What do we do now?"

Like I stated in another thread:

Or, perhaps they're testing the waters and the constitution by running someone who wasn't born American? Some people, a few years ago, also suggested that the constitutional requirement about having to be born American, should have been bypassed to run the newest media darling at that time, namely, Arnold Whatshisnagger. Perhaps that's Obama's expectations this time around. And, since he's the nominee for the democrats this year, he might present a new argument stating that the people that selected him as nominee should not be disenfranchised just because he's not American born. Never mind that he might have misrepresented himself all the time that he was running for president.
