Did Obama's "Fight The Smears" website retract statement about his birth certificate!

Did I just lose some brain matter, or did the Obama's Fact Check website, aka "Fight the Smears," retract the "Here is his birth certificate" statement?

I could swear that this statement used to precede the image .

Am I wrong? Did anyone else note the change?

The way the page is now, there is no lead-in line to the image.

Obama wanted so badly not to be thought of as a Muslim that he dragged out Jeremiah Wright and said “see I r Christian, this is my main man” lol. It shows you what the Obama camp thinks of being lumped in with Islam when they tried to run cover by bringing in Mr G-Damn America. : )

Polarik, just FYI, this afternoon I scanned both sides of an official grad school transcript that has been sitting in my file for decades.

The embossed seal was clearly visible no matter which side was scanned.

Senator Obama, "Is the image posted online a valid and accurate copy of your Certification of Birth, duly certified by the State of Hawaii, and did you personally request and obtain this copy and authorize others to post this image of it?"

I'm not getting it. How can a birth cert be valid with the cert number blacked out? Even if it was originally valid, blacking out the number should invalidate it.

Also, the Hawaii Vital Stats people told Texas Darlin' that they NEVER send out a cert with the number blacked out. That someone from the office in Hawaii supposedly told a reporter that the cert looks valid suggests that they are supporters anxious to make this issue go away.

I cannot believe that we’re still dealing with this issue. I’ve posted several requests for Obama’s camp to come forth with the certificate number, and the hospital birth records, since there are two hospitals listed for his place of birt.

Anyone else, there would be tons of paper flying to prove the person identity. NOt this guy. He gives us a piece of paper that appears to be a forgery.

Why not clear this up once and for all?
