The e-mail landed in Danielle Allen's queue one winter morning as she was studying in her office at the Institute for Advanced Study, the renowned haven for some of the nation's most brilliant minds. The missive began: "THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO."

"It seems to me if Kerry was slandered or libeled by untrue accusations, he has full access to the court system to defend his "honor," along with virtually unlimited funds to press his legal case. Yet the WaPo piece dismisses the whole issue as a proven smear." There are several people still living who were there who say it wasn't a smear (hence the name, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth).
Sadly, it has now become a "smear" to merely point out what a left-wing candidate has said or done.
Now, as to conservative/Republican candidates...see Dan Rather and his Texas National Guard documents.

If not, Eva is likely to become a major shareholder in the Washington (Com)Post. There isn't a lawyer anywhere who wouldn't enjoy taking down that also-ran to the NYT.And if you sold 51% of Washington Post stock at current rates, that would net you what? Enough to fill your gas tank? The MSM is going bankrupt.

I think the “outing” of the individuals is a new tactic that the dimocrats will use to try to intimidate those who disagree.
It is also strange how the WaPo article fails to note that the swift boat veteran charges remain UNREFUTED

The answer to your question lies in the article. Her bias is stated right up front: she’s an Obama supporter.

Her agenda is to silence conservatives...She is a phony as a three dollar bill with B. Hussain's face on it. To add insult to injury she is probably doing it with tax payer's dollars.
My gut tells me she is connected to Calypso Louie...

I'd be willing to bet she's endowed better than Nobama. Or at least she was before the sex change operation.

This is nothing more than the Midwest way of playing politics ...make veiled silly threats (that
IS what this whole election will be like). Here is my answer to this major threat...

He wasn’t raised a Muslim anymore than I was raised Catholic. My parents were both militantly lapsed Catholics, and my father was in the Foreign Service, leading to us spending time in one predominantly Catholic country and another where Catholic schools were the only schools available. So I inevitably participated in Catholic prayers, first communion classes, masses, etc. But I was never a Catholic, and my parents were only Catholics until they were old enough to rebel and refuse to participate in it anymore (and they had never actually believed it beyond very early childhood when you just believe whatever your parents tell you). Still, if you asked people who were casual acquaintances when they were in high school, you’d hear that my father went to a Catholic prep school and marched into mass every week on his stepfather’s orders, and that my mother attended mass regularly until early high school.

That's the first thought I had...I'd get a lawyer and I write that not being a big fan of lawsuits. Eva has been outed to the entire FR community, outed to the world. How much pain and suffering is she going to endure b/c of that outing? How much time will she have to invest in order to regain her privacy? What will the ramifications be for her job, her husband's job, her family? I'm sure a good lawyer could come up with more.
I think I'd get an injunction (restraining order?) against Ms Allen too. She's a stalker and it's creepy.

Exactly. This whole “spread the word that Obama is really a Muslim” campaign is helping, not hurting him, because it makes a big chunk of his political opponents 1) look ignorant, and 2) not spend their energy drawing attention to REAL problems with him.

(chain email) food for thought
George Carlin’s Views on Aging
Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we’re kids? If you’re less than 10 years old, you’re so excited about aging that you think in fractions. “How old are you?” “I’m four and a half!” You’re never thirty-six and a half. You’re four and a half, going on five! That’s the key
You get into your teens, now they can’t hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.
“How old are you?” “I’m gonna be 16!” You could be 13, but hey, you’re gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There’s no fun now, you’re Just a sour-dumpling. What’s wrong? What’s changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you’re PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it’s all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone. But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn’t think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You’ve built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it’s a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80s and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime And it doesn’t end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; “I Was JUST 92.”
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. “I’m 100 and a half!” May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!”

If this woman is considered a genius based upon the wildly simplistic methods displayed in this article, I must be a god. I do agree with the analysis of how rumors start and stick in the minds of people at a later point as fact, but she is dishonest in leading the reader to think only one side does this. Take for example the wholly dishonest point that Obama and his immediate handlers use daily of being the 3rd Bush term, or the never ending war in Iraq. It's all a lie.
I bet she's running down freeper 'pissant' at this moment as he is on a terror of a phony birth certificate.
To: darkwing104
So what is this revelation that Ms. Allen has discovered? That information spreads geometrically in a network? That people pass on things they have heard to others? Her ‘work’ isn't even interesting, it's simply restating the obvious, but it gives the main stream media a chance to smear conservatives so it gets passed on as some kind of research.
A man is born to a Muslim Father.
He goes to Muslim Schools.
Somebody concludes he is a Muslim.
The man denies he is a Muslim.
Some people don't believe him.
OK, So What?

Ms. Allen has verified the effectivness of FR and political emails. If they weren't effective, she wouldn't be wasting her time, and threatening with exposure. Goal: instill fear.
I don't believe she understands the motivation behind Obama's exposure is the predominant fear of the extreme threat he poses.
