The e-mail landed in Danielle Allen's queue one winter morning as she was studying in her office at the Institute for Advanced Study, the renowned haven for some of the nation's most brilliant minds. The missive began: "THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO."

You’re reading quite a lot into a simple observation. Also you’re attributing words in ProtectOurFreedom’s post that aren’t there.
He wasn’t ‘zotted’, we just wanted to review his posts after several warnings about posting the same thing on every single thread.
Now, I want to know when this smart-as-a-whip lady will come after me. (D*mned shame that the McArthur Grants are slanted to the left. I could have used one of those....)
Congressman Billybob
No thanks. I have no interest in voting for him. But not due to fears that he has some secret or subconscious affiliation with Islam. The stuff he shouts from the podiums is plenty of reason not to vote for him.
Comment:
Intimidation is the name of the game.
I believe these truth squads have been used extensively in past communist, socialists, fascists and dictatorial governments to quieten the opposition with intimidation.
The next thing will be an Obama enemies list compiled by the master list compiler and new friend, Hillary.
Question?
Did Allen have the permission to use information from Free Republics web posting to other members?
What say you Jim Robinson?
Further comment:
Advanced Study, the renowned haven for some of the nation's most brilliant minds...err ROFLMAO...
Should read, Advanced Study, the unknown cabal to most common sense Americans, haven for some of the nation's most radical, Kool-Aid drinking very dangerous minds.
The mind is a terrible thing to waste especially the way Allen is using hers, like a mind numbed robot.
You must really hate McCain.
From a political science viewpoint, Dr. Allen makes some interesting and valid observations about the Internet as a political tool.
Actually, you are the first person I've ever seen post this. If others think this, their tin foil hats must be impeding their typing. If you believe in secret concentration camps and trains to pick up dissenters, you are at the wrong place.
That's all it takes to get a half-million-dollar "genius grant"? I do that every time I get a chain email - where's my money?
Unusual name? I doubt it's any more unusual than the names Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden. Their unwillingness to acknowledge obvious things that their readership would have likely already acknowledged will probably raise more suspicions in their readers' minds than they previously had.
[Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.
Adolf Hitler]
OR...see my tagline. (Goebbels)
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach. - Adolf Hitler
Why didn’t this reporter take the time and effort to disprove all of the lies and false rumors about Bush for the last 9 years?
Oh I think I know the answer. He is a Republican and Obama is their boy.
I'm not prepared to let Hussein off that easily. The issue is not the depth of his faith (whatever it may be), it's why he's covering up his Islamic background. Remember when that CNN reporter (Steve Centani?) was forced to say the "there is no god, but Allah..."? In the Muslim world it doesn't matter that his "profession" was at the point of a sword, he's now a Muzzie, and if he publicly renounces his new-found "faith", he's marked for death.
Islamic schools, whether they're called "Madrassas" or not, are not like Catholic schools, to which Protestants and atheists alike may send their kids for a disciplined and moral approach to learning. If you're in the Muslim school, and profess the faith, you are a Muslim, and youth and ignorance are not excuses. Remember, it's the cover-up, and not the original offense/lie, that counts (Democrat Logic 101).
“Whether he is a Muslim or a Baptist is irrelevant to me. What’s more important is that he is a Marxist and an idiot.”
I’ve been saying this for months but people keep going on and on about the religious thing.
The guy was raised by his atheist mother in Hawaii and went to work in the “Rules for Radicals” world of Saul Alinky type groups.
His religion is purely secular and his altar is marxism.
Why do folks not see that already. Look he even refers to the “opiate of the people” in San Francisco and talks of people “clinging to religion.”

So, I have a deep faith. Im rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people, that there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and that theres an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.” (snip)
He is saying, essentially, that all people of faith Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone know the same God. It is, perhaps, an unlikely theological position for someone who places his faith squarely at the feet of Jesus to take. But that depends on how you hear a verse from the Gospel of St. John, where Jesus says, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me, Obama says.
I might not be famous now... but I will be famous very very soon.
The big surprise is coming. The mother of all swiftboats.
Rest assured FRiends that Obama will never see the Whitehouse.
You are correct. This especially includes the guy featured in my tag line and on my profile page.
OTOH, Reverend Wright probably doesn't actually believe at least half of the stuff he spews. Prior to going into the ministry, they guy led a useful life, serving both in the Marine Corps and in the Naval Medical Corps. At one time, I suspect he was just as patriotic, if not more so, than most of us.
His biography also indicates that he took over a congregation of roughly 90 active members. After struggling to build and improve them, he discovered a market for "black liberation theology". This was back in the mid-1970's when racism against black people was clearly on its way out and racial hustling was clearly the growth industry to replace it.
Rev. Wright was merely a smart enough businessman to recognize this and exploit it. Like Jesse Jackson, he became rich and famous by doing so. Congregates like the Obamas likely flocked to him because they take his rantings seriously. I'm not so sure Rev. Wright sees them as anything more than show business.
Freepers should be proud of this, as the truth, passed along as truth, only serves to enlighten. Obama’s own family said he turned Christian 20 years ago, and before that, throughout his formative years, Muslem.
Praise Allah that the Post has reported what it has, and All Power To Him who speaks the truth.
