Hilarious - not because of Stewart, a man acclaimed as a comedic genius by liberals solely because he is a liberal, but because of the audience's reaction.

Some very mild teasing of Obama by Stewart, and the liberal audience seems stunned that anyone could actually say anything that might imply that Obama isn't the Messiah.

I had not seen Jon Stewart before. He certainly seems to think he’s cute, doesn’t he.

The snide narcissism and rampant arrogance of Jon Stewart has motivated an entire generation to share a stronger attitude of defiance to authority and older folks.

Not only does Stewart have a total sense of disrespect for other people, he reminds me of that guy in high school who thinks he knows it all. The reality is that he doesn't have the slightest clue on half the things he is talking about. The Global War on Terrorism is among his favorite punchlines, and I really don't find humor in his "jokes" about the issue.

Any token joke about Obama today will quickly be forgotten once he is kissing Obama's @ss in September and October, while he makes fun of McCain all the way through November.

Wait and see.

Say what you want about Stewart, his take on the candidates wives is funny... and Cindy McCain comes out more favorably.

Most interesting part was his comment to an audience member when he said “you’re allowed to laugh at him”, meaning Obama.

Oh, you're talking about Jon Stewart. I thought for a minute that you were talking about the entire writing staff of the Washington Post! They're all the same. No reverence about anything because nothing serious has ever happened to any of them in their sweet, easy lives. And then they continue to hire each other and praise each other, so the Jon Stewart attitude is promoted in the culture.

You attribute him with far more influence than he has, and his viewership ratings would indicate. While I agree that he's a snotty little twerp, saying that he has, "motivated an entire generation," is every bit as hyperbolic as the BDS folks who blame Dubya for gramma's hemorrhoids.
