So what is it about these two that make them “partisan?”
Is it going to be a debate, or are they “reaching across the aisles”?
Murphy is my Congresscritter, and lately he’s been doing a series of telephone town halls. He said on the last one that they had 7,000 people on the phone, and typically he may draw a dozen or two at a physical meeting.

I saw one at the University of Michigan many years ago.
Very interesting stuff.
Tim Murphy, on the other hand, has been a respectable congressman ever since he got elected to represent our district, which is sandwiched between Altmire's district and Murtha's district. The Soros people are targeting him big time with a well-financed lawyer candidate.
I suppose the motivation behind the joint Town Hall is to put on an image that "We're both moderate and bi-partisan," in order to fend off strong challenges to both of them.
