Spitzer Call Girl Dupre Speaks Out On Myspace Blog

Call girl Ashley Dupré is speaking out for the first time since the scandal that brought down New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, thanking her fans and her critics alike.

"Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment," Dupré, 23, writes on her MySpace blog, in which she calls her mood "Thankful." "Your words have touched me, and I thank you for that ... with all my heart, I love you guys!!! :)"

Dupre gained notoriety in March when it came out that she was the high-priced call girl named "Kristen" named in court documents who allegedly was hired by Spitzer for at least one tryst at a posh Washington hotel. Spitzer, known as "Client 9" in the documents, resigned as New York governor a few days after the scandal broke.

Dupré, an aspiring singer, also left a comment for her critics: "And to all the not so kind words ... I love you too, because it makes me push myself and want it even more. 'Hard times don't last ... only strong people.'"

It is not my job to entertain you. If you don’t like the post, perhaps you could state why you take offense to it. Lame comebacks (and trust me, it was lame) serve no purpose other than to make enemies on this forum. Not sure why you would choose to do that, unless your last name is Dupre.

I thought your initial post was completely lame, and obvious to the point of stupidity.

This girl did not screw corrupt hypocritical married government officials to become a celebrity or media darling.. However, as it turns out this has sent some spotlight her way. I dont blame her a bit for trying to cash in on it. If you dont like it, maybe you shouldn't waste your resources on this subject. The fastest way to kill media attention about this girl, would be to completely ignore it. Personally, I dont mind her getting some attention from the media, as it is a stark reminder of the corrupt hypocritical married government official she was screwing.

If my post was obvious to the point of stupidity, then what was yours? At least I addressed the subject of the thread. You on the other hand, engaged in baseless name calling (What was that you said about the playground?)

Frankly I don't care and have no comment about her cashing in, your protestations to the contrary. Where does my post address it? Oh right, IT DOESN'T.

Maybe you should stick to commenting on the subject at hand, and don't worry about what I post.
