t is now a virtual certainty that the "birth certificate" claimed by the Barack Obama campaign as authentic is a photoshopped fake.
The image, purporting to come from the Hawaii Department of Health, has been the subject of intense skepticism in the blogosphere in the past two weeks.
It has become even more suspect with the revelation that variations of the certificate image were posted on the Photobucket image aggregation website -- including one listing the location of Obama's birth as Antarctica, one with the certificate supposedly issued by the government of North Korea, and another including a purported photo of baby Barack -- one of which has a "photo taken" time-stamp just two minutes before the article and accompanying image was posted on the left-wing Daily Kos blog.
That strongly suggests that Daily Kos obtained the image from Photobucket, not the State of Hawaii, the Obama family, or the Obama campaign. Photobucket is not known as a credible supplier of official vital records for any of the fifty states, and the liberties that other Photoshoppers took with the certificates confirms this.

I don’t mean to go off on a tangent but there is a clear agenda for news broadcasts and these stories need to gain momentum before they can make big waves.
It may turn out to be something small but the fact remains that OsamaObama clearly put a forged document on his website and tried to pass it off as the real deal.

One of my friends worked in the passport office and he told me they caught forgeries. One I remember is a well-off professional woman who altered her birth certificate to make it appear she was younger.

If Obama was born in a standard hospital, it would have been accepted without question. The hospital would have submitted it. Maybe this also explains why there is an inconsistency in what hospital he says he was born in....
No they're not. They are required to produce a "certified copy" of the certificate, which is what this certificate appears to be. Note that such a certificate need not be an exact photocopy duplicate of the certificate on file, and frequently isn't. It only has to contain the same information, typically in computer-printed form nowadays, and an official seal and signature.
Besides, it wouldn't matter if he were born in Timbuktu or the moons of Saturn; his mother is American and so he is a natural-born citizen, i.e. a citizen from birth. Pursuing this avenue is a laughable waste of time and effort.

No we shouldn't ignore the Constitution. But there is no evidence that Obama hasn't met any of the requirements. Any evidence, any evidence at all, that Obama wasn't born in the U.S. might change that. But nobody seems to have any.
And did Bush or Clinton or Kerry have to do that? No, because there was no evidence suggesting that they weren't born in the U.S. And there is absolutely no evidence I am aware of, certainly none that has been shown here, to indicate that Obama was not born in the U.S. either. If he was born here then he's a natural born citizen and the case is closed. Where is the evidence he was not?

Let’s see it sured seemed to matter for McCain’s eligibility to run that he was born in Panama to 2 US Citizens with his father being on Military duty...IMO, what’s good for the goose....Obama should answer any questions and submit proof to back up his answers. This question will not disappear until the BHO folks come clean, if they really think that the consistant lying is not a factor, they got a big surprize coming!
I may have been since to date I have not seen anyone offer any evidence that Obama wasn't born in Hawaii, or anywhere else in the U.S. Do you have any? Forget all this speculation over the alleged birth certificate. Do you, or anyone else, have any evidence at all indicating Obama wasn't born in the U.S.? Any records or indications his parents weren't in Hawaii in August 1961? Anything along those lines?

I would think that might have been part of the redesign. I’m sure providing the ability to go back through years and years of posts takes a lot of storage and costs a lot of money.
Yes we have a birth certificate the says "Filed with", not "Accepted by". So that seems to give an indication that SOMETHING is very weird, since either of the two hospitals Obama sources claim he was born at would have submitted BCs and they would have been accepted.
This is an unexplained anomaly that needs to be answered. If you don't want to pursue this then go away and stop bothering those of us who do.
