The latest on the triple-default, single-foreclosure Democratic congresswoman from Long Beach: "Rep. Laura Richardson initially failed to disclose economic interests -- including a loan from a strip club owner -- when she served on the Long Beach City Council, public records show," the Long Beach Press-Telegram reports.

She’s a good Democrat. Since she’s a good Democrat, none of this matters. Heck, with her foreclosure problem she can claim to feel the pain of ordinary people who have been foreclosed upon.
The rule is: what is the political party of the person who has problems? If they are Republican, they are to be investigated and crucified. If they are Democrat, the rule is, they are somehow a victim, and/or, whatever they did doesn’t matter; doesn’t pertain to their public job responsibilities, etc.
And then for good measure, outraged defenders of the good Democrat will say we are fighting a war, dealing with $4 a gallon gasoline, and that we should be discussing those problems, not whatever trouble the good Democrat has gotten into.
