If the clone is an exact genetic copy of it’s parent, why wouldn’d it be safe to eat.

We’ve all been eating fruit and vegetables produced by plant clones for millenia. Aside from the influence of bad science fiction and anti-technology types, I don’t see any reason to avoid meat from cloned animals.
