George Carlin reported dead from heart failure.
Yeah, I loved this piece...
And I like him a lot.
1. He had a heart attack.
2. All went black
Fixed.
Jerk.

Circle Star?
Wow that is a lost memory.
I was just a kid but remember reading in the Sunday paper who was a the Circle Start.
We went to the Pavillion in Concord.
Wonder if that is even still there (25 yrs later).
I’m the hippy dippy weather man, with the hippy dippy weather, man!
Funny thing about hospitals. All kinds of people die there.
I hear ya. When I was a kid I thought that seven taboo word thing was a funny skit. Since then I’ve kindof soured on the vulgarity used to get laughs.
Carlin was a funny guy. I didn’t agree with everything he did, but you are right. It is a free speach issue, I just wish folks would use more self-restraint.
The funniest routines I’ve seen have no vulgarity. I’m not saying vulgarity can’t be funny, but I dearly love the twist on everyday things that turn out being hilarious without the down side.
Carlin will be missed. When I think of him I can’t help but think of Carson. Can’t tell you how much I miss being able to tune in at 11:30 to see guys like George Burns, Bob Hope, George Gobel, Dean Martin... you know the folks.
That’s life bud. You take care.
Flammable, inflammable & nonflammable... Why are there three? Don't you think that two ought to serve the purpose? I mean either the thing flams or it doesn't!
"I look at it this way... For centuries now, man has done everything he can to destroy, defile, and interfere with nature: clear-cutting forests, strip-mining mountains, poisoning the atmosphere, over-fishing the oceans, polluting the rivers and lakes, destroying wetlands and aquifers... so when nature strikes back, and smacks him on the head and kicks him in the nuts, I enjoy that. I have absolutely no sympathy for human beings whatsoever. None. And no matter what kind of problem humans are facing, whether it's natural or man-made, I always hope it gets worse."
LMAO
"I don't have any beliefs or allegiances. I don't believe in this country, I don't believe in religion, or a god, and I don't believe in all these man-made institutional ideas," he told Reuters in a 2001 interview.
I should clarify that while I agree with GC on religion, I DO NOT share his nihilism with regards to the USA.
Oh man, you guys are making me laugh out loud.
Funny guy. RIP.
This sucks..i loved carlin
classic!
No nearly as miserable a human being as a person who comes into a thread about a comedian's death and says "I don't find him to be funny at all. He sounds like a miserable human being." THAT would be a truely miserable human being.
