Was McCain still married when he became involved with Cindy?

Cindy, do you really think that protecting the USA is only reserved to our armed services on foreign soil (which I too support)? El presidente should also insure that our sovereign land be protected at our borders and within its bounds.

By the way, did you take lessons from Betty Ford? Better gird your loins to fend off the left’s attacks on your addiction problem.

If we had to choose between Michele and Cindy, we’d just have to again hold our nose and vote for her empty suit of a husband thingy.

To get back on topic: I agree with the premise of this article. Cindy McCain and her story (if only the MSM would speak of it) are an incredible boost to the campaign. She suffers from being almost too pretty for a woman her age, but what she has done for children with her free time and her financial resources is extraordinary.

There are more traditional people in our society like the McCain’s, who do not brag about themselves, tout things like their sons’ service, their daughter’s adoption, and other exceptional things they have done and continue to do. For a 21st Century presidential campaign, tho, that is almost a necessity.

What goes on or is said between Mr. and Mrs. McCain is the business of Mr. and Mrs. McCain. Not us. If Mrs. McCain had a problem with it I'm sure she dealt with it. They've been married a long time.

It's no wonder you can't find decent people to run for high office these days. Every fart in the wind is reported and blown out of proportion, no matter when it occurred ("The man who was known as "McNasty" in high school..." fer cryin' out loud! Who wants to go through that level of scrutiny.

Interesting that the McCain's adopted a daughter with a deformity and that their sons both serve. It's nice to see someone "walk the talk".

"Who would you rather have in charge of the defense of the United States of America, a group of people who never served a day overseas in their life, or a guy who served his country honorably and has three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star on the battlefields of Vietnam?"

I think a bigger problem with Cindy McCain, not mentioned here, was her addiction to drugs and her theft of drugs from her non-profit organization. The DEA was investigating this when McCain promised clinton he would play ball for the rest of clinton’s time in office if he would call off the dogs.

I only mention this because I’m sure we’ll be hearing all about it from the left wing press in due course.

When I was in the military, we spoke of adjusting our aim, “just an RCH to the left.” But the C word is definitely beyong the pale, IMHO. The F word, I’m afraid, tends to work its way into every sentence in some circles.

Cindy Mccain sure takes a beating on these threads. Its almost like she is running for office.

I sure would hate to be held to the standards of some of you on these threads. I bet none of you have divorces or addictions or have gotten angry in public and made a fool of yourself. To see you post you must be saints. I'm asking for a blessing from each one of you. Thanks in advance.
