We stopped them from selling our ports to the ragheads. Let's stand together and tell them it is none of their damn business how you spend your hard earned money!
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
this from the same people that bmw’d (b*tch moan & whine) about the Patriot Act.
Dodd has raped this country more times than I care to think about. He is a blight on our government, and until he retires our privacy and economy are at risk.
This from the same bunch of idiots that were opposed to intercepting terrorists phone calls?
Well in the end times you will not be able to buy or sell.......
But we can’t monitor terrorist’s call’s home to Mum and Poppy to keep them posted of our destruction. -Wb
So Chris Dodd is against the Patriot Act so our guys cannot wiretap the terrorists phones but he wants to invade the privacy of every American who has a credit card ?..
What a rotten scumbag !...Just imagine the harm and damage the Democrats and no goodniks in government could do with this credit card information: scan for ‘high money’ people with high credit lines, see who is contributing to which party, check their opponents cards to dig up dirt on them...Just hope this bill never gets passed or that Pres Bush would veto it...This could cause a recession and a severe one at that if people stopped using credit cards...
No matter though—there are ways around that...Just buy a card like a phone card, use it once or twice and discard it and buy another one and load whatever amount of money into it...Use a false name- like maybe Kris Dodd.....call it a KrisCard
But BY GOD! We don’t want the U.S. government tapping the phone calls made by Islamoterrorists!!!! That’s “unconstitutional!!!”
So abortion is covered under the 4th amendment, but using your Visa is not. Suppose you put your abortion on your Visa. Then what.
“Why would I trade one tyrant a thousand miles away for a thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man’s rights as easily as a king.” - Captain Benjamin Martin
This is the same Chris Dodd who is proposing a bailout of Countrywide and who got a ‘VIP’ loan from the same outfit.
This is also going to increase the costs of doing business - and guess who gets to pay that increased cost...
Senate Bill Requires eBay, Amazon, Google, All Credit Card Companies to Report Transactions
So who wanted to kill the whole Housing bill? Because this addition is a bill killer. And I have no idea what it in the rest of the bill. Gotta wonder.
Another reason I could see that RATS would put this in a bill would be to allow BHO to show how he is opposed to this nonsense. He could grandstand on it. But that is a stretch. It makes the other folks sponsoring the bill look like Nazis. Hmmmmm.
Has anyone recently applied for a CC processing account? I long considered being able to process CC transactions for a small business, and began to fill out an application. After a few pages, I bailed, and wrote the company, “Keep the application fee! Just forget the whole thing, and forget you ever heard of me!” Page after page of detailed sensitive information. To Hell with this.
I'm convinced that plenty of freedom is still to be had, just not within the borders of the US.
So the same Sen. Dodd, who didn’t know how much the going rate for his Countrywide mortgage should have really been, wants to know what my credit card balances are? Don’t bother, Senator. You take care of your business, and I’ll take care of mine.
This is beyond belief.
