Censure now. Sue for defamation, if possible. If ever there was a case to be made, this is it.

Rightful place? Prison would be most appropriate.

The sad fact is that the people of Johnstown, Pa have re-elected him because he can bring home the pork. This would never have happened in WW 11 or WW 1 but the Democrat Party and unions have so divided us that he was rewarded instead of spurned.
If we are to save our Nation we need brighter people than those who live in Johnstown.

If we are to save our Nation we need brighter people than those who live in Johnstown. Sadly, the Johnstown gene pool was never the same after the flood of 1889.

“Sue for defamation, if possible.”
Here, in Canada, Members of Parliament can't be sued for anything they say in Parliament (they may suffer other consequences — but, that is left entirely to Parliament itself). However, their speech is not protected outside the Houses of Parliament & they can be sued for libel or slander.
How does that work in the U.S.? Is Murtha at risk of a suit?

One of the Marines has already filed suit. As far as libel goes, I think it's pretty hard to prove though because you have to prove he knowingly made false accusations against you. We know he did that, however proving it in a court of law is another thing.

I tried, but even after several flushes, he refused to go down, and it just backed up the entire system.

Did you hear the amount of taxpayer money spent by the government on these trials? Savage mentioned it- in the
32 million range?
