The hyperwealthy are increasing their wealth on the backs of the everday people at this point for no other reason than flat out greed. This is historically how those people both figuratively and literally have wound up losing their heads.
These folks are not only jeapardizing our nations and others with this crap, they are undermining the very fundamental support of the capitalist system by their greed. The more widespread and longer this crap keeps up, the more hostile the masses will become to the capitalist ideal, and the more willing they will be to accept the arguments of the socialists and communists.
These few people are risking the stability of the entire world to pad their pockets... and the politicos are just fiddling while Rome burns because they’ve gotten theirs.
