Three horrors await Americans who get behind the wheel of a car for a family road trip this summer: the spiraling price of gas, choruses of "Are we there yet?"and the road rage of fellow drivers.
Divine intervention might be needed for the first two problems, but science has discovered a solution for the third:
Watch out for cars with bumper stickers.
That's the surprising conclusion of a recent study by Colorado State University social psychologist William Szlemko.

My car is now highly decorated. One night on my way home from DC, a trucker was honking like crazy, waving and giving me the thumbs up.
My car is parked for hours on end in DC and I've never had a problem. Once in Richmond someone pulled my GITMO and Support the Troops magnets off my trunk. My friend found them in the trash can around the corner, so I put them back on before I moved the car. ;*)
Thanks Nully.
I always avoid vehicles with Gore/Liberman and Kerry/Edwards stickers still on them. On average, some of the worst drivers on the road.

"My Political Philosophy Won't Fit on a Bumper Sticker".
Boy, they just call anything "science" these days, don't they?
My "science" project found that cars looking like the one in post #2 are generally the morons driving 5-10 mph below the speed limit in the far left hand lane (far left, where they feel most comfortable) and refuse to get out of the "for passing only" lane and continue to putz along as if in a drugged stupor.
Meanwhile, my car is highly, but tastefully decorated and I do not consider myself to be a road rage kind of person today. I was when I lived in SF, but I had no bumper stickers on my car back then.
My scientific conclusion: Patriotic car decorations soothe the soul.
We were in the parking lot of WalMart when we were commenting on he various stickers along those same lines, when the owners walked up. They seemed pleasantly surprised we were in agreement!
Wow. I guess I will have to start running ppl off the road since I have an American Flag on my rear bumper.
sorry rabscuttle385,I just want to post a picture, but I don’t know how to do that.
I have a particular problem with that one. Usually see it on Volvo’s, new VW’s and Prius’.
Enemedia conditioning! I think we would all be amazed at how the majority really does agree with us.
2 weeks ago at a strip mall parking lot, I was passing a car with an upside down American flag magnet. As I looked around, debating whether I should snatch it, a lady came walking out of a store. She saw it and shook her head saying "disgraceful!" I told her what I was thinking of doing and she informed me she sees nothing as she walked away smiling.

There are other options, i.e., setting the image border and alternate text (which shows up when the Web browser software can not display the image, for whatever reason), but you only need to know those when you are using the image as a hyperlink.
Be careful when linking to images hosted on other Web servers that you do not control. Last week, I linked to a picture that got replaced with an obscene image by the Web server's owner. I recommend using tinypic.com to host pictures that you link to, or you may wish to open an account with flickr (or comparable image host).
Here is a picture I took of a Code Pinker's car at a counter protest outside of Balboa Naval Hosp. in San Diego.....
Road rage for sure! LOL
I just lost my cookies.............................
Two sexes, but countless genders.
Kind of proves their theory, doesn't it?
