President Bush isn't running for president any more.

He isn't, but he (and his low approval numbers) will have a signficant impact on the election.

The RNC has already conceded they will lose Senate and House seats. And in the smoke-filled back rooms, they are contemplating that they very probably will lose the White House, too.

But Bush isn't running.

I think the main reason his numbers are low is due to the BDS in the MSM.

Personally.

When you’ve been so incompetent and squandered so much political capital through lack of leadership why not keep eating well and continue to squander. Blaming it all on Bush means not taking the blame you so richly deserve.

Much as they might want to blame the President for the decline, the RNC should be looking at the House and Senate as a major reason why the Republicans have gotten into trouble in the last 2 years. They've acted in many ways indistinguishable from the Democrats, and conservatives were disgusted by that.
