I do not believe the same about McCain...I believe he curries favor with the left and the press by poking conservatives in the eye...he burnishes his image as a "maverick" by intentionally being contrarian on conservative issues just to get press and accolades as "reaching across the aisle" even if he himself doesn't believe in some of his own positions. Why should I believe he'll behave differently as president?
Right on abortion (too late)...right on the war (we already won)...right on queer marriage (so what?)...iffy on taxes..WRONG on immigration, CFR, Keating 5, Gang of 14, global warming scam, sucking up to the political enemy, advoctates government micromanaging corporations, total wimp on new oil exploration, wrong on so-called torture, total hypocrite on Gitmo, etc, etc.
We have "won" the War in Iraq just as we "won" Western Europe in 1945 (we are still there), just as we "won" South Korea in 1953 (we are still there) and just as we "won" South Vietnam in 1972 (we bugged out).
With Obama in the White House, you will see a bug out from Iraq and, a year or so after that, you will, in the words of Yogi Berra, have deja vu all over again.
So do you think Obama, who holds opposite views from McCain on almost everything, would be better for the country?
