Muslim Welsh Legislator To Boycott Israeli Ambassador

(IsraelNN.com) Dafydd Elis-Thomas, the Muslim speaker of the Welsh Assembly, said he will boycott a meeting with Ron Prosor, the Israeli Ambassador to Britain. He explained that Israel has failed "to meet its international obligations to the Palestinian people."

Prosor said he is not changing his plans for the meeting that was initiated by another Muslim assembly member. "The voices calling for a boycott of such discussion are missing an opportunity to encourage mutual understanding and are clearly acting in a non-constructive way," said Prosor, who last week wrote in a British newspaper that Britain has become a "hotbed for radical anti-Israeli views."

Sounds like the Welsh "Speaker" best be sent back to his own country as soon as possible.

Used to be, back in the good old days, those Phoenician people'd come to the West Country and if they could be caught, they'd be served for dinner!~

Getting too tame for comfort these days.

Yet, if non Muslim MP did the same to an Ambassador from Syria, Iran, ... there would be a hue and cry in the media and riots, threatened or actual, among the “Asian” communities in all of England.

It's time for the “Asian” communities and “Asian” MPs to learn to be civil and be British or “Clear off!”

Somebody better tell this fool that he is the representative for Wales, not Gaza.

This is why the Muslims will never assimilate. They put their religion and their ethnicity above Western Civilizations melting pot.

Now that’s just weird. With a name like Dafydd Elis-Thomas, he sounds like a Welsh apostate from Christianity, rather than an Asian (in the British sense).

The Welsh National Assembly seems to be really into minority religions—they pick a Muslim to be Speaker, and they had the only Orthodox priest in the northern half of Wales (and possibly the only Welsh-speaking Orthodox priest in the whole country—certainly the only one to regularly celebrate Liturgy in Welsh) give the invocation at their first session. (I happened to meet him when I was in Wales last month, though I’d heard about him from my old parish priest in Kansas who is of Welsh ancestry.)

Wait till we have a Muslim president! The enemy has a few elected representatives in Europe and they thought that was great progress. They are laughing their heads off at the thought that the American people will be stupid enough to elect Hussein Obama as POTUS. For all of our might, they will win because of liberal political correctness and a compliant media.

Dafydd Elis-Thomas. My guess would be he's from Wales itself.

“Sounds like the Welsh “Speaker” best be sent back to his own country as soon as possible.”

His name is Dafydd Elis-Thomas and he’s a former leader of Plaid Cymru, the Welsh party that campaigns for independence, I’m fairly sure he’s already in his own country.

He’s also not a Muslim. I’m not familiar with the source, but it’s obviously not one that concentrates on accuracy.

This is a pretty poorly sourced article.

Dafydd Elis-Thomas is not a Muslim.

The Muslim member of the Assembly invited the Israeli ambassador and then invited his colleagues to attend. Ellis-Thomas is one of those colleagues.
