That way she wouldn’t have had to go through all this election nonsense to control the White House. Given the vagaries of the Supreme Court, she might have found 5 justices to maintain that divorce law trumps the Constitution.

The only reason they have remained married this long is that Hillary was counting on his political capital to get elected. The recent primary showed her how little he had and now Bill is a political liability! Her new strategy is “Blame the loss on him and flush the sucker!” This gets her a clean start for 2012. This should give her plenty of time to establish her bonafides as Senator Hillary Rodham.
I believe it. The divorce will come AFTER the Donkey Primary in Denver... Just in case BO blows it between now and then.

She should have thrown his clothes on the White House lawn and said: ‘Get the hell out!’
I think NOT. HE was the President...NOT HER. She should have packed HER bags and left. She was his wife. NOT the President.

I wish I could lay original claim to that statement. I read it here on FR on a thread a few weeks ago. The timing was about the time that Hillary’s fate was obvious to all but her. Somebody mentioned the possibility of the Toons splitting and another FReeper pointed out this exception.
I doubt that their marriage was ever about love. It has been obvious for more than a decade that a long time ago their arrangement became about power.
Most of us are convinced that they have committed so many crimes that there is an aspect of mutually assured destruction with which they are both comfortable. Not how I would want to live, thatz for sure.

"Hillary would have done better without him in tow. Oh pish posh. I'm sure Hillary has reminded Bill time and time again how she deserves credit for his presidency.
Truth is, Bill had the likeability (for some, not me) that Hillary will never have. She will never be able to ride on Bill's coattails.

If she wants to run in 2012, she needs him. She has NO olitical instincts. For al his embarrassing blabbering, Bill has all the political horse sense in the family.

Folks..... please, get real..
These two miscreants are held together by the law that a spouse may not be compelled to testify against their spouse.
One or both of these two should be going to prison, especially since their fall from grace, loss of control over the DNC and no longer the “power couple” of D.C..

...the resulting mad dash to Ft. Marcy Park by the two Grifters and their puppets that will make the 1963 hit 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' look like a boring Sunday afternoon at the library! Good point. ...followed as well by a rash of inexplicable suicides and empty hand dug 7' x 4' holes popping up across Arkansas. Heck, Webb Hubbel might finally announce he's Chelsea's father, just to shield himself with the press spot light.
