Watch this video where Chris Matthews displays his utter lack of class with Keith Olbermann. While almost every other journalist and blogger on both sides of the political spectrum are giving condolences and highlighting Russert’s deserved credit of being one of the most fair and unbiased journalists of today’s media, Chris Matthews used the opportunity to go off on an anti-war rant. He added insult by comparing him to the “American people” in the sense of being fooled by the Bush administration into supporting the war. Besides displaying how opposite he is than Russert on the subject of bias, he had to go on and add his own elitist touch by presenting himself as a superior journalist.

Watching it now - Chrissy - saying Russert was hoodwinked by Bush the liar re: reason for going into Iraq war, esp the nuclear weapon risk.
Like ‘every man’ - every patriotic American - the President played on the fears of everyman like Tim Russert.
What Chris doesn’t realize is that in his comments he reveals HIMSELF to be NOT the “real American” type as Tim Russert was...in other words, Chrissy did not even CARE about the fact that America’s national security might be threatened by Saddam Hussein....

Watching Chris Matthews is like being present in a steamy Turkish bath sitting with hugely fat marbled, hairy lumps wrapped in towels pouring sweat on each other while they discuss all manner of nasty, furtive things.

Sad thing is that Chris Matthews doesn’t even know how LITTLE he will be missed when he passes...
Look, I feel for the family, but this guy was nobody special in my book. I think he was drastically overrated and not nearly as smart as he and others made him out to be. He was just another bleeding heart liberal who had no concept of what the real world is like.
The same goes for Chris Matthews, only he is obviously a much meaner and angrier person. He and every other liberal talker are just variations of Michael Moore, and while I do feel for the family’s loss the world as a whole is much better off.
I watched it live last night. Matthews had not been on the air all day because he was sleeping at the time. I was shocked to see just how lame he was going in this direction. I despise Matthews but seriously..I thought he had enough tact in him to just pay respects to Tim and leave it at that with some memories. But nope...he had to get Bush, Iraq and Libby in there.
I mean c’mon...wtf was the point?
