In several areas they are equally dangerous, overall McCain is slightly less dangerous.

And the possibility that MacCain could have a term in office shorter even than William Henry Harrison's makes him even less so, (which makes his choice for running mate very important).

Well, he's said that he won't drill in ANWR to keep it 'Virginal' [In his tail chasing days, I'll bet that he'd never have said that]. And, he's said that the recent SC decision for detainees is deplorable, blah blah blah.....

His HONOR is to himself and himself alone. He is capricious, vain, and likes other's to seem him as a maverick. He's not a maverick, he's a nut. He deplores a SCOTUS decision after having lashed the establishment over 'torture?' What it is and what it isn't? He pulls a need to keep something 'virginal' out of his a$$ and that makes him 'touchy feely?'

Hezus H. Christi...(phonetic, just the way he'd have it on his teleprompter)....when will all of these McCainiac apologists realize that this man is only in it for Juan McCainez? How much farther up their keesters does he have to ram their principles for them to decide not to vote for him....

Conservatives already know that Obama is a danger to the Republic, yet many have been gulled into thinking that they're safe with John MacCain, when in reality, because of his Trojan Elephant status, he most likely will finally be a bigger danger than the Obamster. With a leftist in the White House, members of the GOP know to oppose liberal crap, but when it's one of they're own effectively pushing Teddy Kennedy's agenda, they go along with boss, no matter how bad the program or policy.

For example, if it had been Bill Clinton pushing for No Child Left Behind or Prescription Drug Coverage, they would have known to tell the President to shove his programs up his backside. But, because it was Pseudo-con Jorge Bush, their party leader pushing the leftist crap, like good little followers they played along. Now, enacting leftist crap was bad enough under Jorge Bush, (his appointment of a handful of conservative judges notwithstanding), but have you any idea how quickly a President MacCain is going to skip across the aisles in alliance with Teddy Kennedy? A good indicator of a person's future performance is to examine his past, and MacCain's history in office has been one of continuous betrayal and selling out to the dems and the left.

Our only hope, if we do get a President MacCain, is for his administration to be run effectively by a conservative VP. Otherwise, if it's his meaty hands on the levers of power or Obama's, the country is really going to be f****d.

McCain has soooo many other things we as cons should criticize. His age shouldnt be one of them. We cant change that. This thread is about energy independence and drill here drill now. This is something we can work on to change McCain and the prospects of the republican party.

THE issue is in flux. Have patience. The MAIN concern is to have a LEADER who will see this nation and its 300 million citizens through whatever trials and tribulations will come.

They will come - many are already here.

Obama is not that person. He does not have the CORE.

McCain is a man, and he IS the person. Obama is death... Death of this wonderful nation...death not only of each of us and our loved ones, but death of the inspiration of this nation for generations to come...

We could bury the Democrats if John McCain had the sense god gave a mule. But he doesn't.

John McCain is dumber than a bag of hammers.

I agree. Finding alternative cleaner energy is important, but we don’t need to do it by breaking the backs of the poor and by sending cash over to unstable regions of the world. The price of not drilling is too high.

John McCain is dumber than a bag of hammers.

Which is precisely why George Soros and the MSM decided long ago that he should be the GOP candidate for President.

So Dramalike. If Obama wins, what are you going to do?

Like most people, I plan to go on and get Obama out of of office as soon as possible.
