"And they claim that in the confines of a small, warm and humid bathroom, there is even more dangerous out-gassing going on." If Uncle Freddy's been in there after a BBQ, I'd have to agree, 'though I don't think the shower curtain has anything to do with it.

Let's hear from a Vinyl Institute spokesperson:
If your shower curtain smells, turn on the bathroom fan. Duh!

I truly cannot believe someone hasn’t yet posted a pix of Tony Perkins and Janet Leigh from “Psycho”!
FReepers must be concerned about the Supreme Court ruling/s
I’d imagine any or cetainly most residual hydrocarbon smell could be driven off shower curtains by leaving them out in the sun for a few hours. NOT IN THE DRYER!!

I air mine out outside for a day or so before I hang it up.

What's the difference between the toilet paper and the shower curtain?
Uhh...I don't know.
So...you're the one!

Ha,ha. I just searched for one to post, but I couldn't find one that showed the shower curtain, just Janet Leigh screaming.
I know were sticker's for details here at FR, so I didn't want to disappoint.

Doomed. All doomed.
Except the French; they don't shower.

I absolutely love a new vinyl curtain because it reminds me of getting a new raft when I was a kid. It smells exactly the same.
