Q. What's weaker than playing the "taken out of context" card?
A. Digging yourself deeper with the supposedly exculpatory explanation.
Mike Barnicle managed the Daily Double today with his mishandling of the flap over the way he described Hillary back in January. Barnicle was on Morning Joe, and discussion turned to a New York Times article, Media Charged With Sexism in Clinton Coverage, that mentioned his remarks.

Barnicle blames bloggers for taking his crack about Hillary out of context. Ping to Today show list.
Mr. Barnicle is an expert at making up facts, and getting himself into trouble by doing so.
According to Mr. Barnicle, it is always some else’s fault.
I have been hearing stories about him like this since I worked in the Boston Statehouse in the 1970s.
He is an exquisite prevaricator.
This is why some people should stick to plagerizing.

Hey, you just plagiarized yourself ;-)
Funny, I heard that statement and thought it was funny ... and true. So, why is he is trouble for making an amusing comment?
So, we can’t laugh at things anymore? Is this the new Stalinist state where people like Mika tell us what is fair game?
Mika and Keith both consider any jokes against Republicans to be fair game, but any jokes about Hillary or Barak are sexist, racist, etc.
I am so sick of PC. It is the precursor to Stanlinism.

Love the reverb on this thread.

When I saw him called on it by (yechhh) Mika this morning, I did not think his statement was sexist, just one of the very few funny things this dolt says (and he actually did steal it, since a similar statement was made about Bush the First when he was running). Barnicle, in my opinion, is a truly and deeply stupid man, and, in what is always a volatile situation, combines this with thinking he’s a genius.
Another lying democrat scumbag hiding behind the “The dog ate my home work” defense.
