Snow Eagle and I, Little Bill, would like all New Hamshire FReepers to FReep our local, 1st District Commissar, Carol Che-Porter, in North Conway on 6/14/2008, over Gas Prices and the Rat refusal to make us Energy Independant.

UPDATE ON RALLY 14 June: Did a recon on the site. There’s a sizeable area on the corner of Rt302 & Eagles Way to gather.
Parking available either at Walmart across the street (they have a D&D inside for early-comers) or at the school.
Town Manager requests we don’t block traffic and stay off “private property” which shouldn’t be an issue The High School where the forum is up a 0.9 mi driveway (eeks) so, those going to the forum should plan to leave in time to hike to the school or park at the school first or drive up.
Heads UP: there’s a bike rally in Conway Saturday — plan on lots of traffic.

Just got 100 gallons yesterday. $4.399 cash price, got quoted $4.599 for lock in. My landscaper got quoted $4.999 to lock in, same town, different dealer.

Carol Shea-Porter is a disgrace to our state. Her support for higher gas prices and misguided energy policies are well worth protesting. And there are plenty more reasons as well - like her positions, on well, just about everything else.
I wish I could join you, but work calls. May the weather continue to be as nice as today.

Sure would like to make it but can’t. Hope you get noticed by the press people. Take pictures. Give a report. I’ll be just over the other end of the Kanc thinking of you.
Good idea to ping Maine FReepers. When you look around that Wal-Mart parking lot, I bet you’ll find over half the cars are from Maine. Also, check out the little beer and cigarette store on 302. Steady stream of Maineiacs through there.
Stop by the Army Barracks place, too. That’s where that wacko from Maine killed those three people last year.
