Smear:
LIE: Rush Limbaugh says a tape exists of Michelle Obama using the word "whitey" from the pulpit of Trinity United...
Lie: Proven GOP sleazemeister Roger Stone says he has "credible evidence that some indelible record exists" of a tape of Michelle Obama using the term "whitey."

This is the lie that keeps catching my eye. It would be one thing if he said, "I am not a Muslim." Only he would know for sure. But it is an out-and-out provable lie that he was NEVER a Muslim. He was a Muslim seven times over. He was born a Muslim to a Muslim father, confirmed a Muslim by a Muslim stepfather, registered as a Muslim in a Catholic school (not a madrassah, perhaps the one true thing said that web page), studied the Koran in Arabic, attended mosque services, and recited the prayer (which he told a reporter is the most beautiful thing he has ever heard) that makes you a Muslim if you say it.
The only question is whether he is currently a Muslim. Who knows? I certainly would NOT call him a "convinced Christian." That church of his is not Christian in any meaningful sense of the word. Apart from anything else, it does not even require the most basic necessity for being Christian: valid baptism. No doubt Obama can come up with a faked baptismal certificate at need, but I doubt that he was ever baptized. I don't believe he has ever even claimed to have been baptized. Rather, he is a "member" of Rev. Wright's church--which has a policy of accepting Muslims and does not require them to change their faith.
Um...Rush never said there was a tape. He said there was a RUMOR of a tape. But he always called it a rumor.
If you’re going to get the “truth” out, you need to do some fact checking first.
I appreciate what you are saying but it was not us who started this whole thing. It was the guy (can’t remember his name) that started the rumor of Karl Rove’s indictment.
So do they have it like this also?
Lie: those 100s of blogs made about the Jewish Lobby and the like were made by supporters wanting to find an audience to share these views with.
Or did they just delete them, and moved on because they don’t want to give an impression that the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign has lots of Zionist Conspiracy Theory supporters.
The Barack Obama.com Website, Jews, and Women need not apply.
What they say about the school now, and what may have happened when he attended could be two completely different things.
AMAZING that the Obama scampaign repeatedly proclaims that EVERYTHING negative quoted from Obama or or Mrs. Obama is “taken out of context” and then they use the exact same tactic.
Mere projection.
If someone claims that you have uttered a racist pejorative, the easiest way to dismiss it is to say “I do not engage in such action”. Of course as the LAPD found out, there are those somewhere along the line who may offer witness testimony to the contrary.
Farrakhan has used White Devils. Being in the company of a bigot clearly was no concern.
So they talk about other things.
Barry and his wife are race baiting demagogues. Whether they said some special “word” or not does not change that fact.
Did it say anything else? Like the name of an organization?
Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

New Black Panther Party
From the Louis Farrakhan/Nation of Islam website, Final Call...
Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense (NBPP):
"We are happy today to be standing side by side with the Nation of Islam. We believe, like the Nation of Islam and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad believe, in a nation of our own. We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology. We dont worry about the criticism. We love all of those who labored in the Panther Party from the 60s. Many are with us today."

From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES
excerpt...
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo.
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine

FoxNews/Hannity's America
[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]
(some key excerpts)
JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.
I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."
REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."
SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Louis Farrakhan, at the Millions More Movement rally in DC, Oct 15, 2005: "...what Mao Tse Tung did was, he went to the cultural community, and they [Farrakhan spreads his arms beneficently] accepted his idea."..."Mao Tse Tung ... had a billion people whose lives he had to transform."..."the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people, and China became a world power on the base of the culture and the arts community. If we had a ministry of art and culture in every city we'd create this movement [in the U.S.]."

1. Who We Are, What We Are Building
This document is the new SDSs vision for the organization. It is a revised and combined version of the following vision proposals that were presented at the new SDS Constitutional Convention, held at Wayne State University in Detroit from the 27th 30th of July.
As Students for a Democratic Society, we want to remake a movement a young left where our struggles can build and sustain a society of justice-making, solidarity, equality, peace and freedom. This demands a broad-based, deep-rooted, and revolutionary transformation of our society. It demands that we build on movements that have come before, and alongside other peoples struggles and movements for liberation.
Together, we affirm that another world is possible: A world beyond oppression, beyond domination, beyond war and empire. A world where people have power over their own lives. We believe we stand on the cusp of something new in our generation. We have the potential to take action, organize, and relate to other movements in ways that many of us have never seen before. Something new is also happening in our society: the organized Left, after decades of decline and crisis, is reinventing itself. People in many places and communities are building movements committed to long-haul, revolutionary change.
Um, I did my fact checking, thank you.
Rush said that he doubted such a tape existed. That is what I said. And he did say that it was but a rumor - what you said.

Is Obama smearing Rush?
June 15, 2008Recommend (4)
News item: Barack Obama campaign starts new Web site to fight smears from political opponents at www.fightthesmears.com.
The first smear mentioned:
“LIE: Rush Limbaugh says a tape exists of Michelle Obama using the word ‘whitey’ from the pulpit of Trinity United.”
Well. No. This is what Limbaugh said:
“The rumor is — and we don’t like dealing with rumors here — but the rumor is that Michelle Obama from the pulpit of this church used the term ‘whitey.’ Some are saying be very careful with this because she might have said ‘why’d he,’ why did he, the contraction ‘why’d he’ instead of ‘whitey.’ “
He added: “I can’t find anybody who’s seen it.”
So while Limbaugh was happy to wallow in the rumor, he was careful not to claim the tape exists.
More on this when someone gets around to creating www.clarifyfight thesmears.com.
How do you know “no moose have been on the moon”? YOU CAN’T PROVE IT. For one thing, you have not been on the moon, and for another, the moon has been around much longer than humanity has — how can we know what was happening there back then? (Think of Star Trek IV, where the earth was nearly destroyed by questing Humpback Whales from Space!)
You cannot prove a negative. All you can do is give a qualified opinion.
